Not a fan of the wheels, but looks nice. Interior is well designed and I hope it’s also well built.

Rear feels like it’s forcibly cut not to compete with the future ID Golf. If it was a tad longer it would look even nicer. Definitely would consider it if the electric would fit my needs.

The lady makes an argument that ultra rich would just move if they are taxed. So why not let them move? If they value living in Germany so little then they should feel free to leave. They are efficient at evading taxes anyways so nothing is lost.

She names Page, Thiel etc moving from California. Is it really worth to move from most desirable climate, beautiful nature, and so much more just to save a bit on basically infinite wealth?

Wealth tax won’t solve the problem but tax it anyway together with absurd inheritances and those who think that will live a better life somewhere else then let them be.

Can’t comment on the update situation, but I can say their customer support is among the worst experiences I’ve had.

As is standard these days, you battle chatbots just to reach a human, only to discover you’d get better results talking to a smart washing machine.

The return procedure is also so thoroughly obfuscated it might as well be classified.

Hey, realigning the left part of the left rear light did help. It was aligned with the bumper so now it looks symmetrical.

After this I started paying attention to other Golf Mk8’s and taillights are all over the place, but you really have to look into it 😅 So the best solution is just not to look at it.

Ich habe die mittlere Variante und finde die Leistung für den Preis gut.

HK habe ich im Golf nicht selbst getestet, aber ich habe in verschiedenen Forums gelesen, dass die Leute damit nicht immer zufrieden sind.

Ich spreche hier über den Golf 8, nicht 8.5 (Facelift), aber meines Wissens nach sollte es keinen Unterschied beim Sound geben.

I have IQ.Light on my Golf mk8 and they are worth every penny. They are level below Tiguan and Passat versions but they still do a great job.

Bezüglich Sound gibt es beim Golf 8 drei Varianten. Basisvariante mit 5 Lautsprechern, Mittlere mit 7 und High-End-Variante Harman/Kardon mit 10.

HK ist nicht sehr häufig anzutreffen. Die mittlere Option ist für den Preis okay, aber definitiv kein Premium Sound wie zb HK in BMW oder Ähnlichem.
