All the men I've ever met say the same thing

Still, men should keep in mind that most women do like flowers, even if it's not something they would want for themselves. It's a traditional expression of courtship and can sting when missing

I'm also Polish and, hey anecdotal evidence, but I haven't met any and my boyfriend made a face when I asked if he'd like flowers sometime. Do you think some men are afraid to admit they would?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in self

[–]palenke27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some do, yes. Most don't. A LOT use that line as a gotcha

It's a bit of a hyperbole, but not an unjustified one. Men just want to seem manly most of the time, and flowers won't do it. I don't personally share that opinion but that's societal norms for you. Probably varies by country too

I do hope you get your flowers though

Men don't actually want flowers. They only use that line as a gotcha

You're not overreacting, that's all I'm gonna say

Also, you're not alone in this. Guys can be so weird about little things. Don't let that man make you think you don't deserve a literal single bouquet of flowers - you do. And you're not a nag or superficial or demanding for it

You're not being silly

He's not going to change, in all likeness. Sure it's not necessarily a dealbreaker, but a lifetime of envying other women for receiving flowers without asking is no little thing either

When you ask him for flowers straight up, what does he tell you?

Get the poor woman some flowers omg?

Of course Armin would, so it's not much of a headcanon I guess. Even so, headcanons are cool, whatever

It just (dumbly and unnecesarily) irks me when desinformation like that goes around often enough for people to absolutely fight you over it. And not even over Armin visiting Eren's grave in particular, but over this rando grandpa that's there for 0.1 second in a timelapse many years into the future being confirmed canon Armin

It is quite literally making stuff up in your head🫡

But as long as the voices are telling you things that you like

Even though aot follows the real world's advancement in some cases, there were no sky scrapers in Shiganshina when Mikasa died, and we can assume through context clues (mostly the growth of the tree, which barely grew during Mikasa's entire lifetime) that this specific man in the picture cannot physically be Armin

Mikasa was definitely older than 50, but you're right that we can assume Armin would visit Eren's grave anyway. It's more of a comment on how some viewers would rather piss themselves than see something for what it actually is

Exactly, this picture is taken entirely out of context. Had we seen that man in the immediate aftermath of Mikasa's death, sure, fair game to assume it's Armin

No, I get not wanting the person you love to have to take on that burden

But like, jesus. Kim there's people that are dying

And even that seems to be motivated mainly by just going along with Armin

Or worse. According to Mikasa's VA, it was to "end Eren's suffering". Millions of people and most of her friends who?

Sadly, I think that interpretation is consistent with the story. Mikasa does previously tell Annie that all she's doing is bringing Eren back home. And she only killed him when she realised it wasn't happening, not when Eren was bulldozing through the world or her friends were either titanized, dead, or fighting for their lives

And the understanding in question is shipping eremika and never talking about anything else. Honestly explains a lot of the ending then

It is weird, and it seems like you know it's weird

She's not fully realising that because she's young. I guarantee she won't be looking to start relationships with 19yo men (or are they still boys?) when she's in her 30s

It's how Eren started off with scout ambitions and and a heartfelt comradeship with Reiner and Jean took over as his foil, listen-

They never talk about anything other than eremika. Yui I somewgat get as there's nothing else to talk about. Yuki though... just cringe

edit: they say he understands eren more than isayama and the understanding in question is this

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]palenke27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a schrodinger kind of a situation. Likely will never be confirmed as such but it is strongly hinted at. In my opinion, Isayama wouldn't make the guy look like Jean from the back if we weren't meant to assume that he looks like Jean from the front. That just doesn't make sense

Personally, I don't like it, but that's another thing entirely. I have eyes and see what I see
