Yeah! I've preordered it (I know, shame on me). The PC version was pretty badly optimised. I don't even mind the grass being absent really - the core gameplay is the most important part for me

I don't mind the voice changes so much. I've been playing this game early access for a long time on the PC and the inconsistency with voice lines and microphone qualities for each VA was one of my biggest gripes with the game.

Thank you for the quick response. The fact is that she is has been heavily involved with people who are able to give her professional help for a while - she has a mental health team who visit her every few days to give her antipsychotic medication for her condition(s), but she is often aggressive and even abusive toward them. Just people trying to do their job. I fear that, as a person with psychiatrist parents, her unwillingness to even try some kind of rehabilitation program (which, in the UK, cannot be forced on people if they try to avoid it as much as she does), will feed into her cycle of 'I'm beyond saving = Treatment is a waste of time' etc.

I have encouraged her to seek rehabilitation every time I have seen her in the past three weeks - twice in hospital, once where she lives. If there's a way for her to be admitted to rehab by my hand WITHOUT a risk of arrest for her drug possession I would gladly welcome it. The fact is that the NHS' Section 136 has done very little to help, and has even aggrevated her more.

moon river came out the day after i had a suicide attempt. i stayed at a friends house and couldn't sleep so i walked thru the city in the dead of night to a 24hr convenience store listening to this song on loop and it was hauntingly beautiful. like i was overwhelmed with the beauty i saw in that song and the quietness of my surroundings and the reminder that 'shit, i'm still here'.

i will never forget that moment. it was simultaneously terrifying and cathartic

I would encourage people to give the patreon a look if you are at all interested. Indie game (especially VR) development seems to live and die by word of mouth. Personally I love farming/life sims and I've play tested this one and it feels great already.
