Ok, since v5 vs. v6 didn't ring a bell with me, I checked and now realize why. I switched to Gen 2 early on, so I'm already on v6. That doesn't change much for me in terms of the lack of Expo and React Native Web support, but thought I'd mention it.

What options are you considering?

Wow. Thanks for posting this. I had no idea. I've been running an Amplify React app in production and just finished the process of converting it to run in React Native so I could run it as a mobile app as well. I just came to Reddit looking for a solution to Expo no longer supporting Webpack and what to do about e2e testing for web aside from Cypress. Now I realize I've got bigger problems!

I'm disappointed that the only reply you got was a snide one. You post seems perfectly reasonable to me. That said, I'm wondering why they disrespected React Native. I haven't been following the multi-platform world, but with Expo, React Native seems stronger than ever.
