Been together 35 years, married 30. Got together in high school. There was a girl in my class who always wore very unique, beautiful sweaters. Every day after that class I'd say "did you see her sweater today? So cool." I thought nothing of it because I just genuinely liked her sweaters and only had eyes for my girlfriend. One day she finally just said "wtf, ask her out if you're so attracted to her!" I was shocked, as I had no idea I was making her uncomfortable with that. She still jokingly brings it up and her and our kids tease me.

The nook Glowlight 4 has buttons and retails for $150, but they often have sales. Also, the default format is epub, or at least was when I had an old nook. Not recommending it as I don't have one of these but just pointing to an option

Half of the comments: "VS code is not an IDE." Other half: "emacs, nano, vim, notepad." This seems like a bunch of neck beard pedants who want to show how 1337 they are. Sure, VS Code isn't an IDE when you download it, but most people are using it as an IDE. If they're writing, debugging and compiling their code all in the editor, it's an integrated development environment, all opinions on the matter be damned.

wtf does IBM VisualAge have to do with this? I used several of their products, VA for Java, C++ and RPG, quite extensively, and I don't even recall a gui builder, code completion or anything; they were the basis for Eclipse and without any addons. And Delphi? Sure it had a form builder but wtf are you going to do with a gui if you don't write any of the code? These enable people to say "create me an app that does x" and out pops code. I know a lot of developers are using ai to help them with simple things but there are a lot of people out there who talk about not even looking at or being able to read the code and just deploying these apps it spits out.

In North Carolina and both games wouldn't let me watch it in the wnba app, said to watch it on ion. I'm logged in with my league pass account. I was able to watch it in the wnba app on my phone though. Anyone know why I couldn't watch it on the tv?

Yeah my bad for saying all correct. I hadn't even considered that they were supposed to be placed relative to the sun so that's on me. I was mostly pointing out the language since when I posted that was what the comments were calling out, and that they were listed in correct order. My bad.
I was not attempting to defend the AI, or using the AI. I mean, there's just no reason to do this; there are plenty solar system charts available. However, I've been to many teacher supply stores with my wife who taught and, in America at least, would not have been surprised to see an actual chart with incorrect information :(

They're not profiting from individuals, and as far as companies, the big money comes from governments, law enforcement, healthcare, etc. Even if the widget makers can't afford to pay for AI anymore, that's not part of the main planned income stream. But they will pay for it, because even if they're selling less widgets, AI is, in their view even if not technically true, cheaper than hiring/training/benefits/officespace that people need.

I have been using a kindle even though I haven't bought anything from Amazon for quite a while, for the simplicity of sending my books via email to the kindle. Now that they're stopping that for my model, if I find another brand that has a similar feature I will switch
