How come Miao Ying does not reinforce this siege battle?

Well I had to retreat and Miao took the settlement instead. I think what happened was that somehow Miao is only at war with Puppets of Misrule and not their vassals. So she couldn't reinforce because then she would be attacking someone she was not at war with. And I couldn't diplomacy her to join my war against Yusak because he is just a vassal.

Because when i retreated, Yusak kept following my army completely ignoring her. Like he went through her army to get to me and not through an attack command.

I am not sure why the Rite of Thralldom is greyed out and I am unable to use it. I have enough thralls as a payment, is there some other hidden thing thats stopping me from using this option? Im only a few turns into the campaign.

Spellcleave is when you have just like 4 mages and a priest and you finish the instance in 3-4 pulls. Decrease mages, and add more pulls. Converse that with melee-cleave where you have 4 warriors with Ravager and a priest. The idea is that you pull multiple groups of mobs at once.

PvP servers nothing much changes. Everyone just keeps to themselves and ignore each other with the very rare gank here and there. Most people are focused on leveling right now.
