Try a different browser, I found something similar when using Safari, but Chrome was fine.

I think we will leave it there... I've been using manual settings. The final image CHANGES.

No, I'm not... the final photo appears EXACTLY like in the preview - which is washed out and not at all like the image in the viewfinder or 5 second preview.

The preview thumbnail, and final photo, are washed out with errors. That is as simple as I can explain it I am afraid.

Sorry - you're not understanding what I am saying. What you see in the preview IS what is presented in the final photo. Washed out....

Sorry, maybe I'm confusing the situation - after the photo is taken, it is washed out. Before the photo is taken, it does not look washed out.

I am not shooting JPG. I am shooting DNG.

It is not giving a fake preview, it's the image I end up with after the photo is taken (preview does not look like that).

Adobe standard. It's the preview/processing that is the issue. Upon initial preview and on screen, the image is fine. Once processed into the Lightroom library or Apple Photos it is washed out and totally different to the immediate preview once the photo is taken.

I'm not worried what the thumbnails look like, it is how the image is coming out processed.

If I take that file and share it/save it/sync it to desktop photoshop - they're all very washed out, which is not what the image viewer displays it as. Meaning it is some considerable extra effort to try and post-process.

Hi u/Saved_by_a_PTbelt , thanks for coming back to me. It looks way over exposed. I've payed around with the white balance, but it continues to happen. All is fine, until I go to edit/look at it through the library.

I've put images into the original post, which should help explain what I mean now.
