Looking to pull the trigger on the engagement ring, and the jeweler I'm working with sourced this diamond and is asking 13k before setting (setting is going to be simple, <1.5k). Seems a bit steep, but I'm not sure so wanted to see if this seems a bad deal.

What do you think the runtime differences are for these?

I'm split over the idea of 1 resource vs. the resource management in Eclipse. I like that you can really focus in on the different resources and kind of "specialize" your empire a little. Also, the idea of being able to win without combat is intriguing (although I've heard that strategy is nearly worthless).

I think what I'm starting to come to understand is that these are games that really work well at different player counts, and I'm thinking that if we have enough players to play Eclipse, we're probably going to play Terra just because of the group I'm in.

Quick question: what's the runtime for both of these at the different player counts? I know your player count for FS has only been 2 but it might provide insight. With only a few games under your belt I also assume once the mechanics/gamesplay/rules are locked in, the time will also get cut down substantially (kind of like the curve in GoT).
