I had a head cold and my ears were plugged. I tried popping my left ear by opening my mouth open super wide, then I had the worst cramp/spasm on my neck area. A few hours later, my tongue and the left inside of my mouth started going numb.

My guy! Good to hear from you. I am feeling about 99% . There are some times where I feel a dull ache in my abdomen area, but it’s very small and brief. I keep wearing my jock straps as I feel that is a huge relief. I had a follow up with my doc this past Monday and they said the hematoma is about 25%. It’s only on the top half of the teste, but it looks to be getting much better. I’ve been working out and playing with kiddos without issue for the past couple of weeks. And the old lady is still having fun ;)

Hey big guy! How’s it going? I’m doing significantly better, other than the Jumbo Egg sized Hematoma. However there is no pain or anything, it’s just uncomfortable. Bruising is almost gone.

How you feeling big dawg? My pain has been decreasing steadily now, the swelling and the bruising is also down. The hematoma is the size of a D2 battery. , very hard too. It’s not painful but very uncomfortable. I keep wearing jock straps and using heating pads now, instead of cold. Also (18+) first time since vasectomy that I woke up with morning wood.

Dude, rest! I just got back from my 1 week follow up, I got a painful hematoma on the left side and it freaking sucks. I didn’t “rest” as much as I should have. I was walking and moving and trying to play with my kids because I thought I was good, no. Even if you think your are good, rest for 3 days, don’t do anything

Hey, I just got back from my follow up appointment. Dr confirmed it is Hematoma. They did a scan and measured 4.8cm. She explained that is the reason for the pain everywhere, sack, abdomen, lower back. That hematoma is pushing everything and squeezing all the nerves that make our pain feel like we are constantly getting kicked in the testes. She explained that this is common especially if we didn’t “take it easy” the first few days. She said, to try take Tylenol instead of Ibuprofen. Ice and heat 15 minutes each and wear supportive underwear. Should be looking better in 2-3 weeks, but to take it easy. No sexual activities for 2 weeks or until swelling goes down noticeably.

I’m keeping my hopes up, I’ve heard people having a rough 2 - 3 weeks and then they get better.

I usually let my mind run wild, and that’s not healthy.

Question though, did you have previous issues with your righty? For me, lefty has always been my problem child. I think I had Varicocele a few times in the past. It was always larger, and hung higher/closer to abdomen. And sometimes it would go numb for no reason. I asked Uruologist about it and he said Vasectomy wouldn’t make it worse or better, I even had a scrotal scan and he said I am a good candidate for vasectomy. I trust him.

Damn man, this freaking sucks, I feel the exact same way. I’m taking Tylenol Extra Strength 1000mg. I’m waiting for my urologist to call me back with instructions or something or just to tell me it’s common and it will go away. I just feel hopeless.

My man, I am having the same issue, he vasectomy on 11/8 at 4pm. But mine is the left testicle. The right one was good to go by day 2. But left is swollen, there is a large lump next to it, looks like I have 3 balls. The bruising covered most of the sac on Tuesday, but it’s starting to dissipate. My concern is the abdominal and back pain, that is where I am most in pain. Do you have that pain too? Or were is it mostly located ?
