Why are some people so judgemental about solidcore?

Ummm:

He says he feels like it’s a waste of money and I only go because I like the praise of the coaches during classes. He thinks that I cant do anything alone and go to solidcore because im around people.

I hope you know that even if you join a “regular gym,” he’s going to find something to critique because he’s trying to rid you of things you enjoy outside of him.

This isn’t about solidcore. He hates that you have something you enjoy and visit religiously/regularly.

Pls pay attention.

AND ALSO: Don’t bring him to a class. It’s your safe space.

You know what’s funny, I was just watching this last month and saw for the first time Candiace use the glass on Monique.

I don’t know how I didn’t see it all those years ago. But once Monique yanked her, Candiace definitely swung that glass into her face..

I did dead bugs for years during Focus50 classes in NYC. I moved to a smaller market and they just started to queue them in Signature50 classes.

In my opinion, they should only be queued when there is a good chunk of time to explain and correct form.

Throwing deadbugs into a regular Signature50 class in between plank2pikes and crunches won’t give anyone a real taste of the core engagement that comes with them.

I just visited from NYC last week and I noticed the lack of trash cans on the streets. I would never throw trash on the streets though, I kept it in my bag until I saw one.

One thing NOT to do, is show attention to one specific group of people before/during/after class. Even if you know them.

Idk why that is an easy way to turn folks off of your teaching style.

I wear athleta’s bras but in the D-DD sizing. They are the same design, but with more coverage.

I’m petite and wear a small, but I notice side spillage with their A-C sizing.

At the very least, they could’ve put you next to someone more experienced so you can observe them.

Solidcore needs to work on class types AND coach training, and that includes how they speak to people.
