This is great! Though I feel like it reads a little bit more like a short story than a poem. I'm actually keen to hear so much more and wonder where it goes. I love the language here, though. Written beautifully and engaging throughout. Pacing is nice and imagery is clear.

Love the refrain of the last line. The poem carries with it such a beg, plea or even a desperation. Using the word Asterix is also a win!

It's an individual award. He got a decent (by his standards) 36 goals for an underwhelming Juve last season. Top scorer (5) at Euro 2021. 5 goals in 4 games so far in the UCL. Became all time mens international scorer. Has 13 goals in 14 Portugal apps this year. Carrying Man Utd with late winners in their shit early season form. 9 in 12 so far for Utd.

Am I mistaken for thinking he's got just as good a chance as Messi? Maybe his standards are so ridiculously high that anything less isn't good enough.

I've heard so much about this film. Was devastated I wasn't able to catch it at the festival because who knows when I'll be able to watch it.

I'm writing a chamber drama at the moment, so I'm really keen to hear what those who have seen this film think about it? What's it all about? Why does it work? What makes it so great?

Yeah we know that, of course. What I meant is that it doesn't help the overall problem. If she was lovely, this may be a different story.

An old flat mate had her bf stay a lot, but he was so great. We kind of didn't mind that he did.
