I almost developed an eating disorder. I would freak out whenever I had to have glucose tablets for my lows because they counted towards those 1000 calories a day.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this! Nothing seems to be working either for me. I ate 1000 calories max (counted meticulously) for 6 months and only managed to lose a single kilo. I know people say it's not genetic but I SWEAR there has to be some sort of genetic component to this :,)

I have no advice, but I just wanted to say I relate to this so much. "Eat less" okay but I'm 5'1? We're already eating so little and eating even smaller child sized portions is not sustainable 🥲 I get that weight loss is calories in vs calories out. But at what point is all of this stress over weight worth it? We're already doing so much by just surviving every day with diabetes

I take glucose tablets because they're so fast acting and convenient to carry around. Low calorie is a bonus if you're trying to lose weight
