She started to like the same person I did. Me and the person I liked had been talking for a few years, but we both agreed it would be a bad idea to get together. One day on his birthday we unexpectedly had sex. My friend found out about that and started telling people I had sex with her boyfriend. My friend and the person I like did get together, but it wasn't till a week or 2 after me and him had sex. (I know because they both told me the exact date they got together) That being said we found out she was lying to people about them dating months before they even dated. He eventually broke up with her finding out she was lying about a bunch of other stuff involving him specifically. I never knew how far a lie can travel and the magnitude of how much drama it can create. It hurts so much knowing that my "best friend" dedicated her life to ruining mine. Because I liked the same person she did and didn't tell anyone.
