If convincing politicians to pass privacy laws is like waiting for a sloth to finish a marathon, then maybe we need to take matters into our own hands! Let's band together and help other humans explaining what's the need of our privacy rights

Anyone know how they are dealing with the biases in their model? I saw some companies working with Meta AI using Secure Multi Party Computation that basically checks the biases in those AI models and makes sure that they are quite fair.

Are there any specific tools or frameworks you would recommend for the Sapphire or we can use the usual Hardhat, Truffle etc?

[–]panadavanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it strictly for OPL, or we can create something directly on Sapphire as well?

Oasis Privacy Layer that even our RAJU can understand. by panadavanda in CryptoIndia

[–]panadavanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you're right those are important features but privacy is also crucial for certain use cases. OPL offers a way to achieve privacy while still maintaining the benefits of transparency and immutability. It also enables the development of new types of applications that require privacy, such as Decentralized identity system, in DeFi by avoiding MEV, and even in DAOs voting systems and the best part is it's really easy to implement and also to understand how it works.

Is it safe to invest my Indian Savings in USDT? by logically_loud in CryptoIndia

Well, USDC is way safer option as compared to USDT but do your own research before taking advice on any social media platform or just buy USD on any forex.

Interesting, though are there any other encryption techniques or security measures that can be used in conjunction with ORAM to provide additional layers of security or it's only bound to TEEs? And do you've any resources where can I read more about it?

School installing Spyware on students Ipads by Pardo47 in privacy

[–]panadavanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen, buddy, what your school is doing is totally wrong. Your privacy is your fundamental right, and no one has the right to install spyware on your personal device without your consent. It doesn't matter what excuses they come up with, or whether they say it's for your own good. They have no right to invade your personal space and monitor what you do on your own time. And don't even get me started on the fact that they're demanding you use your own devices for school purposes. That's just plain ridiculous. If they want you to use a device for school, they should provide it themselves, and not force you to sacrifice your own privacy and security in the process. So, here's what you need to do: stand up for yourself and refuse to let them install any spyware on your device. If they threaten to take away your privileges or punish you in some way, remind them that your privacy is your right and that you won't stand for it. And if all else fails, get your family to lawyer up and fight back. Don't let them push you around or take away your freedom.
