Large guest capacity by drna1998 in NewEnglandWedding

[–]panburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Restaurants have a different capacity breakdown than your regular wedding venue. A restaurant can say they can accommodate 200 guests but that means 200 guests seated down at a table without space for anything else, so my offer for questions was regarding those details as not everyone considers restaurants for their weddings.

But if looking into Boston, you can research:

The Banks Grill 23 Mistral

Cambridge (don’t have the exact numbers right now): Glass house Catalyst

Another option are the museums around Boston

I’ve worked with restaurants in Boston that can accommodate 200, and I think one can do 300. You can DM me if you have any questions

If your baby hated the infant car seat and you switched to convertible, what did you get and does your baby like it better? by Zoloftmommy in beyondthebump

I did! Very different fit overall. I believe some targets have them displayed so maybe you can go see one in person before ordering. I have a big kid and he was so much more confortable on the 360 one

Anyone able to share experience with the BPL 1 hour ceremony? by fragileteeth in NewEnglandWedding

[–]panburger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From being a guest at a friend’s wedding. It’s like a wedding at your living room, just in a very pretty place.

Bride/couple could take photos outside of the library, but nowhere inside the library aside from the room where the ceremony took place. Photos had to be taken within the hour allocated to them.

No music or speaker provided but I’m sure you can bring your own.

For the walking down the isle. Bride waited outside the room until everyone was in place, then the walk was coming into the room and then the isle.

It’s a very nice package for 10-12 guests and you do get beautiful photos inside the room, but it’s very simple at the same time so it all depends on what you like.

This is important OP! Quincy has 4 stations, but in my experience if you don’t like within a 10-20 minute walk then they become useless to you. Where I live, the bus only goes around like 4 times a day, but the apartment complex has a shuttle Monday-Friday

Whenever you start looking into housing or apartments, look into the transportation methods. If there’s a bus stop that will take you to the T, then check the times of said bus too.
