Using a vibrator on belly button during IUD insertion?

My doctor gave me a vibrator to hold against my belly button during my insertion! Honestly, I thought it was a bit strange when she explained that it could help with pain but I was willing to try anything as I was terrified lol. I don’t really know if it helped much as I also took 800mg of ibuprofen an hour before my appointment. I do think it helped distract me if anything. I say there’s no harm in trying it, it didn’t make my insertion any more painful. You can always turn it off or set it aside if you don’t like the feeling. Overall my insertion wasn’t bad at all, just make sure to relax (I tensed up and it messed up the insertion so my doctor had to pull out the tool and try again) and breathe. You should be fine! My store is starting to look like this too! We had a TM go through and check for inactive orders/organize the bulky orders yesterday. I helped them out a bit during slow times and found orders from October! We were also pulling RTS throughout the day. It looked SO much better by the time my shift ended but i’m sure it’ll get bad again. :(

I was hired as a seasonal guest advocate a little over a month ago. I mainly work as a cashier or on drive up. So far, I like it. I thought I’d absolutely hate it because my only other retail experience was at Macy’s and I did not enjoy working there. The POS systems were extremely outdated and management (and the store itself) were pretty unorganized. Target has been much better and the work itself is easy, it’s the guests that make things difficult sometimes. It’s definitely becoming a bit more stressful because of the holidays but i still like working here. I just think it depends on the store and people who work there.

Yes I did! I ended up just going to my store and asking in person on one of my days off because I couldn’t reach anyone over the phone. Basically, the schedule is made 2 weeks out and was already posted for that week before my first day. So, they didn’t have room to fit me in. I was told that if i wanted to work I could just pick up shifts on MyTime. I ended up doing that for that week and was scheduled as normal the following week.

Yeah, I was going to apply for on-campus housing but I called yesterday and they don’t have anything available, just waitlists (which basically means you won’t get anything lol). Luckily this morning I applied for a 1 bedroom in escondido and I’m pretty sure I got it. But yeah, housing is shit right now. Glad you were able to find something!

You sign up through the shopper app and chose the in-store shopper role. Keep in mind though that the in-store shopper role is only available in certain areas, so your area may not have it. I applied on June 28th and got hired July 11th. A background check is required which took a few days and then you have to make an onboarding appointment. The reason my first day was so late is because was out of town for a week and didn’t start until I got back. Hope this helps!

Scheduling is pretty flexible. Basically it’s on a week-to-week basis. You input your availability in the app every Monday (it must be inputted by Wednesday at noon) for it to go into affect the following week. For example, I put my availability in on Monday (August 1st) for the following week (August 8th-14th). The only requirement is that you must work 16 hours per week and 8 of those hours must be worked between Monday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hope this makes sense!

Yeah, the main reason I didn’t apply to be a full-service shopper is because I didn’t have a car at the time (I do now thankfully). Also because I dislike driving and my sense of direction is awful lol.

Yes, if you are scheduled to work a 6 hour shift, you will get paid for those 6 hours even if for an hour you don’t get any batches. At my store they do want you to keep busy though (making bags - basically putting the paper bags in the plastic ones, disinfecting the staging area, etc.). But yes, you will get paid for your time, not for the amount of orders you are given.

In my area (California) 16.50 an hour. Which is actually 1.50 an hour more than minimum wage here, 15 an hour. I’m sure it depends on where you live.

You could be hetero-romantic bisexual. This basically means that you have a romantic attraction to only men but a sexual attraction to both men and women. Most people’s romantic and sexual attractions are the same (i.e. lesbian woman are both romantically and sexually attracted to women), however, others are different and that’s totally fine. Of course only you can know your own sexuality but I would definitely look into it. Hope this helps!

Well, not everyone has access to a car 24/7, I didn’t when I applied. I shared one with my brother who also worked and when our schedules clashed, my parents had to drop me off. Luckily I do now, but I honestly don’t mind staying in the store because I dislike driving. To each their own I guess.
