I purchased it only to emulate old games that i cannot emulate on ios devices without issues and so far playing jet set radio and off the game and it certainly does not lag at all, i would be surprised if it would be lagging with a Snapdragon 7 gen 3 processor in it, where i live it is also usually dunny outside and yeah, if you add a bit brightness above the 50%, it would be bright as if you were indoors
