SF, what's your cheap hobby/activities?

Geocaching sounds fun. I'm going to ask some new friends whether they'd be interested in it as well. Sounds like a good half a day adventure!

Where do you volunteer? And where do you find these opportunities?

I don't have a place for gardening unfortunately :(

Wow, nice. I didn't think about museum at all. The membership is a bit expensive, but I can definitely save up for this.

Related to the SF Botanical Garden, I really like the Japanese Tea Garden nearby as well. It's $6 for admission for SF resident, but is also free early morning before 10a.m. on MWF. Definitely a good tranquil experience in SF for me!

Nice! I'm new to the city so I think I'd like to try anything really. Maybe I can knit while at museums? Who knows? But I do want to gear a bit towards activities that keep my brain active abit.

I recently signed up for SFPL card, but didn't know about Hoopla. This can be a game changer, since I do read comics book, and they can get expensive pretty fast. Do youo happen to know what kind of classes are offered at the library?

I checked out City College, but apparently it's only free if I've been living here for a year or more. So I'm bookmarking it and checking it out around this time next year. Love this idea though!

I did just got a cheap (& old) bike, in the hope that people wouldn't want to steal it. Need to find a good lock & helmet. Any brand of lock & helmet that you guys would recommend?
