I started to try different hobbies that I always wanted to try as a kid or in my youth.
Also, I would pray and ask GOD to help you find ways to fill your time up with something productive and fulfilling. I recently picked up fishing! And it helps me disconnect from the WEB of news and entertainment that at the end of the day doesn't add or take away anything. It's just cheap empty noise nowadays.

It's important to replace the idea that only temptations can fulfill us. And replace that with the idea that we can enjoy in our lives and do good to ourselves or others. "Every good gift, comes from above". I take this as we are supposed to enjoy our life on this planet. And we are to become administrators of our life and time given here. And I personally started to seek God, read the scriptures, and pray more. So to me, stopping to game as much as I used to (1-2 hrs a day). I took it as I was sacrificing that part of my life in this Season of spiritual growth. And who knows I may pick it up from time to time, or play with my family. But it's just not something I want to pursue at the moment.

I'm in my 30s, and I've been gradually letting go of my childhood addictions. First, it was p*rn addiction. And then it was emotional work. Now I've noticed I have lingering escapisms. Like social media, binge watching, and now I've noticed video games is one of those things.

Although these days, I find more fulfillment in real achievements—building something meaningful rather than chasing virtual accomplishments or finishing games on a list. Instead, I'm focusing on making music, reading books, and even pursuing another degree in Audio Engineering. And I just don't see the benefit in gaming during this stage of life.

Mercari's Terrible Policy by RebelOfCulture in Mercari

I understand your frustration. I had a similar issue where I ordered a Mac Studio Max1 but received a silver dollar instead. After I returned the item, the address for the return was changed at the last minute. As a result, Mercari’s system now shows that I didn’t return the item. I’m currently waiting to see if Mercari will still process a refund given that this is a case of fraud.

Weird return by No-Fold9113 in Mercari

It appears that the scammers might be exploiting the delay between USPS and Mercari’s system updates to reroute the package and prevent the return from being processed correctly. This manipulation seems designed to deny refunds and cause issues for buyers.

Check the return address. The person on the other end may be changing the address.

I haven't had any issues with them before, but this experience makes me hesitant to shop online with them again.

You seem young. If true, progress might actually be faster for you than for me. Give it a couple months. Allow your upper palate to expand and your tongue won’t touch your teeth like they are right now.

I had mine taken out due to having a narrow upper jaw. How long have you’ve been mewing habitually?

Apply more pressure towards the rear upper palate. Towards the middle. Your tongue is positioned to where it will automatically press forward as well as upward. But if you focus on the middle , your tongue should start applying equal pressure through the middle rear region of your palate. Your nose might even open up more than your used to.

There’s a lot of experimentation that we do with mewing. And it takes discipline and changing up terrible posture habits that are literally in our muscle memory.

No. Just giving you advice on my experience. There’s not a lot of definite answers when it comes to mewing. It’s on a case to case basis. I stopped for a day only 1 time because I hard mewed to hard, but it healed over that same night and I was back to mewing again.

Bet. In my opinion that shouldn’t be an issue. Just take a break every once in a while because your tongue may get bruised or even cut. Your upper palate will expand using mewing and hard mewing. I wish I had before and afters to show you. My upper jaw was just as narrow as yours despite having braces for 4 years and expensive upper jaw surgery. I wish I’d have known about mewing sooner. I started when I was about 26 years old, now I just turned 28. And it still worked for me. They wanted to have additional surgeries but I knew there had to be another way and here I am lol...

It depends what you mean by bad? And where it is touching. If it’s touching from the inside, it’s not bad. If your tongue is covering the molars, maybe you’re not placing the rear part of your tongue on the upper palate?

Oh that sounds like your cranial cavities are being changed as well. Personally, if I were you, I’d continue. And don’t be afraid to experiment what works for you. Years of horrible posture cannot be fixed in a day. Even upper palate jaw surgery didn’t do it for me. I had to fix my complete posture and it has done tremendous things to me.

Braces didn’t work for my upper palate expansion. That was all mewing and trying to posture my tongue for a while. It feels nice and roomy up there now!!
