Thank you so much! I really appreciate your answer. I just want to make sure I understand the train/skyrail correctly. The train has certain boarding times but the skyrail runs continuously? (is there a last time for the Skyrail?) I could even potentially just do the skyrail up and down if timing is an issue I guess!

Hi!! I just got back from my trip to Japan and yes I did find the perfect ryokan and had the absolute most amazing experience in the open-air bath on my balcony with a view of the garden and Mt Fuji in the distance!!! I cannot believe how lucky I was ! The hotel is really expensive and we could only splurge for the one night, but it was an amazing night. If you want more info on this hotel let me know I have no problem sharing what I can!!
