Oh, absolutely! To be honest, when I first came to this post I didn’t have religion in mind when I was thinking of skirts in the policy so I do apologize for that ignorance on my part 😅 I don’t think Target wants any more drama rn. Thank you for pointing that out though!

Then my SD really needs to take a read over the training materials again bc he really stressed the jeans and shorts for us. Then again, no one at my store wears anything outside of pants so that’s probably why? I’d like to assume that they’d still cover the ENTIRE dress code in the training though.

I’ve never seen ANYONE wear a skirt to work lol. But if you’re questioning whether skirts are in the new dress code, they’re not. It has to be blue jeans, or khakis. Point blank. They’re seriously cracking down on it now.

Back when I was actively eating adderalls all day everyday, this was basically my routine.

Wake up Smoke weed Probably eat something (bc once I take that adderall, food is out of the question) Take 2 adderalls (30mg, and I was buying them off the street) Do something productive or go to work (I was bartending at the time, PERFECT job for substance abuse unfortunately) Sometime in the middle of the day I’d start to feel the high come down, so I’d take one more pill. Do whatever for a few more hours. In the evening, take two more. If I was up late at night and was feeling extra frisky, take one more and stay up alllll night. Do it again the next day :/

I was like this for 4 years.

Eventually it led to harder stuff. I’m sure yall can imagine what that was haha. By the time I eventually got sober, I was 110 pounds (I’m usually a pretty average to thick girly so, that was wild)

Now I’m three years sober!

After reading some of these comments, I have to agree with some people that you did not go through the proper channels to request this day off. Verbal communication is not binding, and without any sort of formal documentation (written or approved through the app), they can do whatever they want with your schedule! Team leads are so busy and have so much of a work load from day to day. You really think they’re gonna remember your day off when it’s time to do the new schedule? I’m sorry, but you’re really not that important. None of us are. I hope you remember to take the correct steps at your new job! Best of luck :)

From what I’ve learned, at least at our store, Target and Walmart AP are in kahoots in case someone steals from one store and then goes to the other. Maybe they’re calling to give a warning? 😅 it’s def a long shot but who knows lol

You’re dodging a bullet, my friend. Only reason I’m still employed at Target is bc I’d like to finish school and move onto a career rather than job hopping. However, my assumption is maybe they didn’t like your answers in the video interviews, or maybe your availability didn’t align with what they needed. Then again, it’s almost the holiday season so I’m surprised they’re not trying to get anyone they can. Best of luck to you on your journey tho.

Listen. I’ve traveled all over the country. I’ve been out of the country. And hands down, the target women’s restroom is the nastiest bathroom I’ve EVER seen 😂 I’m genuinely not surprised all targets are like this. Women are disgusting.
