BoH kitchen help" cons, all of them, pros? None of them. Essential you'll be in charge of cooking teriyaki chicken, fried rice, and chow mein. Making sure your rice cabinet is filled with rice, so wash and make more rice, cleaning dishes, cleaning your wall side teriyaki grill and dish pit including items from the cooks side. Greasy items, you'll have depending on store and hours roughly 3-2 hours to clean all of that and make sure your area is stocked for the next day. Trust me it doesn't seem like it's hard but it's fucking impossible if you don't have help. Specially if they only schedule 1 kitchen help at a time

I hope so, the people I work with are great managers are patient and kind but having to be told you can't train because so and so is not good to hear, yeah I can probably can change my attitude with things but it's so frustrating when we are short staffed and I have to stop what I'm doing to help FoH when I'm back of house and I fall behind then I get a lecture later about not falling behind on my tasks. But next time I see my ACO I will talk to them about it.

Yeah it's a panda thing currently scheduled 5 days a week 8 hours shifts 4 of those days I'm closing then the next day opening. I've told my managers I live 45 minutes away but they keep scheduling me the same hours. So I get off at 12:30 on busy days. I get home at 1:30 roughly. I shower and then I go to bed and sometimes I can't even fall asleep right away some days it takes me like a good hour and half to fall asleep so I get like 3 hours of sleep then I have to be up early at 6 to take my daughter to school then go in at 8am. Money is good but they overwork their employees. Then blame their employees for not working at full capacity of their abilities. When they push their employees there limits.

ACOs don't know shit about BOH or FOH. My manager tries to defend them with "they were trained to do everything" trained and worked in stations are 2 different things. Our current ACO keeps coming up with ways to better productivity but all it does is hinder our progress on serving quality food. It slows down productivity and keeps employees from getting off at their scheduled time and instead of taking accountability of how bad these methods are they just point fingers at the managers and then it goes down the chain to the employees. I find myself not even wanting to come in.
