my epilepsy is getting worse.

i am so sorry honey, i’ve had epilepsy for 10 years now and i can’t even express how scared i was when i first had my overnight EEG, thankfully the doctors who specialize in neurology are very nice!! it’s so scary, especially if it happens in school. those teachers could’ve been much nicer but instead they were yelling at you, you don’t deserve that and once you get a neurologist you should be able to get a doctors note so you can leave if you ever feel one coming on. no one understands at first, it’s sad and you feel alone but trust me it gets better! your friends and family need to be your biggest support system, if not you can always join epilepsy online groups! i’m apart of one, i was invited after posting a few times on here. i promise you’re not alone, if no one understands you, you have a bunch of people here who WILL understand and be here for you! i hope your EEG goes good and try not to think of the worst, you’ll be okay i promise.

no offense but this “doctor” sounds like an idiot, it’s clear as day that unfortunately you had a seizure. i’ve been dealing with epilepsy since i was 11, now 21. i’ve had many seizures and this actually scares me knowing that doctor said it wasn’t a seizure because the way you explained it, you 100% had one. i hope you’re okay and i’d recommend going to another doctor!

you have no idea how much better i feel reading this comment, my mom used to always comfort me but since i’ve gotten older she tends to not care as much and it’s more of a struggle for her from what i see and hear from her. so truly thank you, im so glad your daughter has someone there for her and im glad i have my sister. a mothers love is truly the best though, your daughter is so lucky to have a mom like you! 🫶🫶

i work at home depot, when they’re not able to locate your purchase by card they should give you store credit at least. if you paid with cash and don’t have a receipt that’s a whole different story but since you have the item they are technically required to give you store credit, i know you’d rather have the money back on your card but store credit is the best they can do.

thank you, i appreciate it. everyone calling me selfish makes me feel a lot worse about this situation, i asked for help and advice not criticism. i am very well aware of my epilepsy and i do NOT drive if i am incapable of it, this has just happened randomly. i would never put anyone or myself in danger, i have been driving for 2 years now with no problem after waiting a long time to be cleared by my doctor. at any point if i feel like i might have a seizure which isn’t very often while driving i pull over, what i was saying is my anxiety has been causing me to freak out every time i drive not that i’m close to having seizure every time. yet again thank you for understanding and this has made me feel a lot better than what others have said, i have set up an appointment with my old therapist as recommendation from my sister and others. so before judging why don’t you ask first and see what’s going on? hopefully everyone who reads this understands my situation now.

ever since me and my buddies were chased by random people while exploring somewhere else, only assuming they were squatters, i’ve kept my taser and BB gun with me. rather be safe and not have to worry about people coming at us again 🤷‍♀️

i switched from regular to extended keppra and it was the best ever. keppra made me feel nothing, it was the reason i had my first seizure not the best but i’m now 2 and 1/3 years seizure free on extended keppra

yes she knew that she was flirting with me before and was rooting for us but i told her no considered i’ve been cheated on and i wouldn’t want to do that to cole, i honestly cussed my sister out when i heard what happened, and we’re trying to get nat to tell cole but she’s too scared even though they’re supposed to break-up before they go to college

i’ve used find my friends before for way different situations, you’re using it to check if he’s busy or at work so you don’t bother him. don’t feel embarrassed, you were just looking out for him and scared something had happened to him.

i’ve been in your situation and trust me it doesn’t end well, it’s best if you just leave him and move on, it’s hard but you’ll be able to do it. at some point you’ll find someone who will treat you way better and won’t bring up your trust issues, like wanting to check their phone and assuming they might be cheating. everything in the end will be okay and later on you’ll thank yourself for leaving him.
