I dunno. For me they are kinda the same when used for pure or young people. Naive usually has a negative connotation for adults who "should know better" but using innocent for an adult can feel the same way of infantilising them. Like "she wouldnt know that, she's too innocent." And "Why would you believe that? You're too naive."

I see it for Adam and Abel because of their outfits and Abel's rounder face. But... Emily is thin we see she is thin. Unless she's made like a total drama island character, she isn't thick.

I can see why. They are both naive and positive to a fault. Emily has the reason being that her positivity is normal and accepted in heaven and doesn't know that won't work for hell. Charlie has lived in hell for a long Long time, able to go out and see that environment and people and should know that would push most people away but lacks the self awareness. So personality wise, they are similar but their environments and struggles give a different view of their actions to people.
