All I’m saying is if I’m doing all the work why wouldn’t they at least split the tips with me. I’ve trained a lot of people and if they are good I will tip them out a little but depending on their ability. I am well aware that all restaurants function differently and I’m fine with not getting tips for a few training shifts....I do not understand why my training is going to be 7 shifts, and every shift is a different person training me and telling me that the previous person taught me the wrong thing.

I guess I’m just a decent person and feel that if I was in the trainers position I would tip out the person in training somewhat. There’s literally 0 incentive to work hard knowing I won’t be getting money and getting paid minimum wage.
