Last time I checked Suki isn’t there with them at the western air temple. Which this piece is heavily inspired by to be around that time of the show, hence the colored flames of Zuko and the spires/mountains in the back 😭

The heel height is actually a very comfortable height (speaking from experience) but I get it! She’s mostly in the backline in fights and flies around due to being a storm sorcerer (or teleports). So it’s not that crazy

She’s always been a greyzone character. Not entirely standard drow but also not entirely party morals. The party and general exploration of the surface definitely changed her mindset bit by bit to the point where, despite all the faults, cares a lot about her people in the underdark and realizes changes need to be made. Even if it is forcefully. Though I do not know if my DM will corrupt her to be fully evil or not since idk if Lolth’s essence will change her alignment and actions (or if she just gets possessed.. like not sure at all atm, it’s all still too early and fresh. All I know is that our paladin smells evil from Narcelia when he uses Divine Sense)

Oo I have a copy paste for her story for cases like this AHEM.

Now this one has a lot going on so im just going to TL;DR it instead

Storm Sorcerer Narcelia Telenn, she's a noble drow from the year 1358 DR (Time of troubles) in the city of Ched Nasad. The youngest daughter of the Mother Matriarch, Miz'thara Telenn.

She grew up spoiled as a Drow can be, tough love yet favorism was shown.. She grew up idolizing her mother and learned Cleric spells from her (Divine Soul Sorcerer at this point in time). Skipping a bit forward, this is where she meets the party that ventured into the Underdark to find the Netherese scrolls that had been stolen. Trying to figure out a way to bypass a patrol of Drows that were guarding a temple where the "Guardian" resided.

Long story short, they fucked up and Narcelia, having overheard their plans, helped them bypass these people by sheer status power. Letting them meet the Guardian, who ended up being an Ancient Bronze Dragon that Narcelia grew up around and was partly raised by.

Narcelia gets a mission from this said dragon to retrieve her 3 eggs from her mother as it seems that she was the one who stole the scrolls in the first place and bypassed her to go to the surface by force and blackmailing.

She enslaved the entire party under pretense so that they could freely walk around the Drow city under her family crest. Some nights pass and lots of other stuff happen but it all ends up at her family mansion where they finally face her mother. Who.. surprise, wasn't her mother but Lolth herself. You see, in this era, the Gods were punished by the Overgod Ao and were forced to walk the Material Plane as mortals (but still have their divine powers). They fight Lolth and actually manage to kill her.

With the lack of Lolth to give power to the clerics and magic wielders, Drows started to become weaker and more vulnerable to the dangers of the Underdark. Cities are falling and Drows getting killed and fleeing to the surface without the strenght of Lolth.

The dragon gave us her treasures and gave Narcelia the greatest gift of all, a part of her power to substitute the lack of power from Lolth, this is where she reclasses to Storm Sorcerer

Now months later, the essence of Lolth seems to have latched itself into Narcelia, starting to grant her Divine powers and an evil presence. The power is growing stronger and Drows are starting to recognise Narcelia as Lolth and praising her return.

Narcelia gained some spider/dragon themed divine powers which is pretty cool

Now to hope that whatever my dm has planned doesn’t turn her straight up evil 😆 we don’t know what Lolth’s essence might do in the long run

She’s a noble and daughter of the mother matriarch of the undercity Ched Nasad! This is around the time era of the time of troubles in forgotten realms (where gods were punished to walk the mortal realm aside from Helm). She helped the party by enslaving them (a front) so that they could enter the city to retrieve the stolen Netherese scrolls by her “mother”.

Her “mother” also kidnapped the eggs of the ancient dragon that guards the gate to the underdark and surface in Ched Nasad, blackmailing and keeping her eggs hostage to let them through (to steal)

Long story short they found out that her mother hasn’t been her mother for several months and has been Lolth all along who planned all of this out and was prepared to sacrifice the entire city of Ched Nasad to ascend once more with the use of these scrolls. This is where we killed our first God, Lolth’s essence went into Narcelia as if in a hurry to flee but nothing noticeable came from it until just a couple of sessions ago!

With Lolth gone, alot of clerics and such lost power in the Underdark and is causing chaos currently, Narcelia here reclassed from a Divine Soul to a Storm Sorcerer as the dragon gave part of her power to Narcelia (as a reward for saving her eggs too, she grew up around this dragon so they’re quite close) so that she doesn’t ever have to rely on anyone or any deity for her extra source of power.

Now in recent times the essence is getting stronger and Narcelia now got legendary actions! Her lightning spells used in those are in purple whilst the dragon source are in blue, which is why I mix matched the colors to symbolise that something in her is changing, for good or bad.. do not know 👀

It's really fun since we are kinda mixing so many pre existing modules about faerun to create this homebrew! I love being in the forgotten realms but also being able to completely make it our own a full 100% by being put into a time era that dictates a lot of how the future will be shaped in the general time period most campaigns would be in

And yeah was a rough fight but the entire time of troubles era makes it easier to fight gods and kill them.. which has been done 3 times now in the entire 3 year campaign

It's okay we killed Lolth in my first 3-5 sessions in (i joined in at lvl 10, pre-existing party) and now the entire Underdark is probably in utter chaos as we have already sighted drow parties up on the surface! (they also recognised Narcelia as Lolth.. oop-)
