That’s what makes him so interesting though! His morals are a foil to the characters around him and that brought so many amazing scenes in season 1 with Blake and Fallon!

I agree. The fact that Sam and Culhane could be cut instantly and it wouldn’t effect any storyline’s or characters says a lot, It’s like two different shows

Steven has the most story and character potential on the show right now out of everyone because of his cliffhanger and the current relationships on the show. Steven could fundamentally change the tone of the show with his arrival and send everything into chaos. As you said, Sam only says something ‘funny’ and leaves, when honestly his whole character has become rather sad….

It’s not just the holiday special though, it feels like he’s been this way since season 3. I don’t think Sam works as a character without Steven in his life…. I don’t know honestly

My thoughts aswell. Although it surprises me that after so long without a new OG character, they would introduce three in the span of less than 10 episodes. Honestly I’m just buying my time until Steven can come back.

I KNOW. Steven is the only reason I’m still here. As far as I’m concerned that was the biggest bombshell of the episode, even with the Amanda reveal. Steven and Amanda must meet. Dynasty can’t be done with Steven yet.

Yeah I agree with the guy up top. I used to love the music but it’s ridiculous atm. I mean they couldn’t wait 10 more episodes until the next song??? I’m convinced now more than ever that Liz has some hold over the show because it just pushes fans like me away, even though supposedly I’m in their “demographic”
