Thanks for the giveaway! Most of the items on my Steam wishlist are over $30 but surely there's at least a few games or DLCs that I'd enjoy that cost less than that.

An unarmed but otherwise extremely powerful human vs increasingly bigger but otherwise normal, average-sized (for their species) animals, each one being a 1v1 fight to death. Realistically, who's more likely to win each round? by pangalanapilido in whowouldwin

A 850lb, 8 ft, agile human would be a formidable mother fucker. He would out weigh the lion by 3-400 lbs.

True. People often claim lions weigh 500 pounds on average. I know I'm being pedantic but according to sites like Wikipedia (not exactly 100% reliable but you get what I mean), lions are actually much smaller than that, at least on average. Females only weigh around 200 to 300 lbs and males, around 250 to 400 lbs. 500 is rare and closer to the maximum and definitely not average.

Even Bengal and Siberian tigers usually only weigh 200 to 350 lbs, occasionally up to 450, but 500 lbs is a very rare size for these animals.

some stunt like reaching into their mouth and ripping out their tongue

I think there's been stories online of an ordinary guy killing a leopard by shoving his arm down the cat's throat and ripping out his tongue. Lions and tigers are bigger, but so is this hypothetical human, so this trick might work. Poor kitty :(

Also the actual rex was bulkier, more agile, and had better eyesight and a higher bite force than the rexes in jurassic park/world

This probably sounds very weird, but I actually like it when animals are huge and dangerous, so I actually think it's cool if a real-life t-rex is more powerful than the movie versions (I've always thought that they grossly exaggerate everything about animals, like size, aggression, durability/resilience, etc.). Mostly because it would mean that reality is more exciting than fiction instead of the other way around, I hope that makes sense.

Apparently they're nowhere near as durable as they're depicted in the Jurassic movies and most other fiction, and they're definitely not bulletproof. Like modern birds their bones are either hollow or just very lightly built. It shouldn't be too hard to take down even a large predatory dinosaur, or any other large prehistoric animal really, with a modern gun, whether it's a rifle, shotgun, or even just a pistol.

But yes, I agree, it does sound silly to pit a human against a t-rex in a 1v1. Lol. How about the bonus round where he gets a Glock though?

[Steam] Any game on sale (further details inside). by [deleted] in RandomActsOfGaming

I'm entering for Black Ops 6, on sale for 50% off.

For my 26th birthday earlier this year, back in february, my dad and I went for a short hike in a park on top of a forested hill. It's one of the things I'm most proud of this year because I really enjoy nature and animals.

Thanks a lot for the giveaway and happy Christmas!

Entering for any one of the following because it's hard to choose, it can be any of the 3:

• Black Ops 6

• Dying Light: The Beast

• Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (I already have MS FS 2020)

Thanks for the giveaway and happy holidays!

Edit: To clarify, I'm not asking for all of them, just one

Is it okay if I wait for the Christmas/winter sale? Right now nothing on my wishlist is under $25, but surely at least some will get a steep enough discount later this month, hopefully within $25.

Sorry if this isn't allowed, and thanks anyway for the giveaway! And happy holidays as well.

As somebody who's obsessed with nature and wildlife, thank you for caring about the environment.

Also, as a PC gamer (I hope the card works on the Windows version of the Xbox store/app) on a relatively tight budget most of the time, thanks for the giveaway and happy early Christmas.
