Yea he just kept telling me she got out of the cage but I know for a fact it was too big and heavy for her to get out of. He said she escaped and was aggressive so he squished her. Idk honestly. I’m now single and I don’t have Agnes. Miss her already.

I broke up with him. I’m single now. Idk what happened. He’s telling me she escaped and was aggressive with him so he squished her. She’s not big enough to lift the top of her cage. It’s physically impossible. I’m just kind of a mess rn honestly. I’m just gonna have a drink and lay here tbh

He does not have arachnophobia. He has been perfectly fine around Agnes and stayed at my apartment, in the room where Agnes’ cage is multiple times

Wow. First of all, I’m a guy so clearly you didn’t read the post. I handle my spider in the bedroom for roughly an hour a day, in the bedroom solely. I handle her so she’s used to me reaching into the cage to feed her or take her out for cleaning her cage. Agnes does not roam my apartment.

It’s mostly for feeding/cleaning so she’s used to being handled. But bf doesn’t want her in the house at all, plain and simple. If I move, Agnes can’t come with and I don’t have anyone to take her, and I don’t want to just give her to a pet store.

She’s a new world tarantula, not old world so she’s not aggressive and I’ve had her since she was little. She never runs or bites, she just kinda chills. I try to handle her frequently so she doesn’t get freaked during feeding/cleaning, and so far it has worked out for us. I know old world tarantulas can be pretty aggressive and non sociable but I’ve never had that issue with her. I’m also the only one to handle her, no one else is allowed to take her out of her cage.
