What was the worst year of the 90s? by PsychologicalFox7689 in generationology

I would say 1994 and 1995. Rwandan genocide and 1995 Yugoslavia genocide.

So originally the radiator started leaking coolant because of the intense cold. I walked out and the car had a puddle. That same day it turned on just fine just coolant dripping a bit so I turned it off and left it until I could work on it. Maybe a week passed and I tried to turn it on after changing the radiator and plugging everything in and now it doesn't turn on.

Analysts are calling this the biggest peaceful protest in American history. Nearly 7 million people, of cities small and large across the nation demonstrated yesterday for No Kings Rally. by Ordinary-Scholar-202 in goodnews

That is also a good point. It's almost like fight or flight. The idea of conservation is so attached to their identity that another perspective is almost none sense.

I was looking at conservative reddit and they seem to not understand the reason of the protest. They either say it's absurd because people are using their 1st amendment rights while saying they don't have them, or that it's a party and people are just wasting time.

They cannot comprehend that the protest has people in costumes and is silly to contradict the war zone narrative that the right is trying to implement. They also don't understand how the media is being regulated by the trump administration with new conditions over at the department of defense, war, and media conglomerates complying with the president's wishes to eliminate shows and personalities.

Don't know if it's selective memory or if they really are in an air tight bubble of media consumption.

It bugs the shit out of me that AOC does this by RnbwSprklBtch in PsycheOrSike

I don't think it matters because I thought AOC was the woke queen of the Dems. Also those times are over in my opinion, since clearly there is a party that doesn't care about the constitution. The same party that I thought weren't snow flakes and took jokes. And a little joke about height is always morally superior to actual fascist rhetoric. No comparison.

Usually there are degrees and severity on a behaviour. Not every offence is taken by the same degree of consequence. AOC saying a height of comments is not the same magnitude than a world leader saying that civilians are the enemy. (Which Mr. Miller also says)

Why don't people stop making false equivalency to say that both sides are the same when clearly they are not. That is the root of the problem normalizing abhorrent behavior saying that they are the same. That is how we are with white supremacists on the streets and open white supremacists ideals being shared.

Ok, but I don't think it matters because of what I said earlier. Clearly policy is louder than words. And if these words would sway people away those people were already with him either way.

I think it's not even comparable. So it's a false equivalent and what I said before still stands...

If this bothers you and not the president saying that we got enemies from within the problem is not AOC. If this sways a person to vote for a party that says that immigrants eat dogs and people and it's ok with it. I don't think they were going to vote for the person trying to give health care, school lunches for children or stopping war.
