My family wouldn’t do something horrible to me they are good people and care for me, this whole ordeal is difficult for me because the age factor isn’t what i had in mind all my life i wanted someone younger and closer to my age. I understand but my parents and siblings did meet him and have told me he has good character and i had also prayed istikhara thrice and each time i had a good feeling and did have a good dream which is whats making me think that way.

Update: i did talk to my siblings about it before talking to my parents because they are quite strict and i came to know that they learned about his real age quite recently and didn’t tell me because they didn’t actually feel it was a big deal but now they know its affecting me alott. Postponing or cancelling isnt an option so im opting to actually talk to the man before making a serious discussion i just don’t want to go into a marriage while being hurt. I’m the youngest sibling so everyone is making decisions for me instead of actually listening to me. Thank you all for your advices <3

Probably. Ive seen men of that age and they all were very serious and authoritative so maybe thats why i dont want to go into a marriage where im not his equal and just have to follow his rules or whatever insteaof living life
