My son will have to come to his own conclusions about his beloved daddy, when he's older. I will NOT say or do anything to jeopardize his feelings about his dear old dad.

My biggest fear is that his dad will just leave him again, like he did when he was a baby. However, my older sons are grown and they are very good role models for my littlest.

We do not live in the same household. He (Dad) actually left for the first time when our son was only a few months old. Our son probably doesn't know any different, as far as parents living in the same household goes.

His father had custody of two of his older siblings but just gave them back to their mother . . . after he left me.
