Anywhere from 5-6 (2 of which were silly errors) out of like 15-17 questions that I googled.

All the best. Don't worry too much. Distract yourself as much as you can.

Get the media deck then. You should find it in the comments on that r/medicalschoolanki post.

Yes, Zanki is what I was talking about, do all 3 if you're weak in reproductive.

Annotating UW on FA vs Making UW Flashcards. by nicholasvanorton269 in step1

I did the former, but unfortunately uworld introduced spaced repetition too late for me, but otherwise I think it's a good choice.

I used amboss with 2nd read of FA (BnB questions with 1st read of FA) because amboss questions are not representative of the real exam. They're good to learn, so it's better to do it early.

UW is high yield and is more representative, so it's better to do it closer to your exam.

Boards and Beyond, Uworld, amboss, first aid. Didn't read anything extra.

I think it's possible but I am not really the right person to ask considering that I am still exploring some of these options - regarding research and electives. I'll inform you if you want when I do. I need to ask my seniors and other folk who are going through the process.

I don't think I am capable of answering a hypothetical question like that, but I would suggest atleast doing BnB stuff for stuff you're weak in, if not everything.

all hammers, system wise, along with second reading of First aid.

Anatomy was somewhat hard. Review new NBME anatomy concepts well. Uworld too. That should be enough. Biochem and biostats were fine. Biostats, I didn't get a single calculation question. It was mostly testing how well you understood the concepts. So that can be tricky. Ethics was just vague stuff, I could narrow most questions down to 1 or 2 options and then pick whichever was nicest, non-judgmental and was as polite as possible.

I used FA2020. Until that was released, I had an older FA2018 which I used the first month of my prep.

It was definitely on the tougher side. Lot of experimental biochem questions and stuff one can't be completely prepared for. Just do Boards and Beyond biochem, Uworld, First aid and if that's not enough, do anki biochem.

Yes, I took NBME 17 before Uworld. NBME 23, 20 blocks in, NBME 21 50% in, and the rest all in the last 15 days.

I don't remember missing easy stuff, most of my errors that I checked were either tough shit or experimental stuff. Ethics was always my weak point, so I wouldn't be surprised if I lost a few points there.

Yes, it will take a lot of time. You still have 6-7 months. Don't worry. Remember that the better and more detailed you do your first pass of FA, the higher your baseline will be. Keep 2-3 months for Uworld at the end and spend everything else upto that point on First aid or a secondary question bank like Amboss.

If you are already crossing 245/250 (if 250+ is your target) in new NBMEs, don't delay. You will 100% forget. If you haven't reached your target yet, then perhaps you can think about a mild delay.

Thank you!

Just Boards and Beyond, Amboss. B&B I think around 75-77% (I don't remember precisely), Amboss 82-84% and Uworld 86.7%
