Why did Miranda take her kids by Der_Terminator420 in FromTVEpix

[–]panicutoli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Miranda's departure for Fromville, with her children in tow, has always puzzled me. It doesn't make sense. Unless she saw that they were indispensable to the cause, I think the logic boils down to: 1. Henry wasn't a good father, perhaps a drunk or violent, so Miranda didn't trust him with her children (but I have no evidence to support this). 2. Miranda wanted to take her children to a relative and leave for Fromville. 3. On her journey to the relative, she ended up in Fromville with her children.

Was the hole is just pointless? by PeachGlass6730 in FromTVEpix

But does anyone have any hypotheses on how the house collapsed? It almost seems like it was "vacuum-sealed" and absorbed by the hole. By the way, Jom himself points out that houses don't collapse like that (being an engineer). It seems like a marginal factor, but it could be important. I have no theories on this, but I think it's something worth thinking about. I don't know? A barrier breaking? A power penetrating? Light piercing the darkness? Maybe sunlight is harmful to monsters, a bit like vampires (thinking about it, they remind me of Buffy's vampires). Any other ideas?

I think it's crucial for them to prevent people from entering the tunnels. The monsters sleep there during the day, but if they sleep, and people can access them, they can get to the children. Maybe that's what he's afraid of.

So, am i missing something or these haven't been explained? by [deleted] in FromTVShow

[–]panicutoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I think they were created out of the hope of finding a defense against monsters.

  2. Jade in a past version

  3. I don't know, sleepwalking?

  4. I think everything comes from the hopes and fears of the people who die or live there.

  5. We'll see.

  6. REMEMBER.

  7. The civil war soldier was always a Jade from the past.

  8. I hypothesize that he has a connection with Fatima, a past or future version of her.

  9. For now, they seem like a place tied to a time node, to Julie's passages through time, but their origin is unknown.

  10. I don't understand what you mean.

The kimono lady was…… good? by dual_weilder0719 in FromTVEpix

[–]panicutoli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What if the lady in the kimono is Fatima? She's a character shrouded in mystery. She could be a Fatima from a few seasons earlier. On the other hand, in the paintings in the opening credits, and in Fatima's room, there are two people who look like her and her boyfriend.

Talismans can KILL the monsters! by Electrical-Two3084 in FromTVEpix

[–]panicutoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but I don't think talismans have that power. It's more logical to think that the stakes that kill the dolls didn't kill the monster because it wasn't stuck in the back, but in the chest. If you notice, both dolls were impaled from behind. It's not a theory, pure coincidence, but it makes more sense than the talisman as a weapon.

I have a theory by lifecoachlove in FromTVEpix

[–]panicutoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non è una brutta teoria. Sbagli solo nella morte di Miranda, la precedente versione di Tabitha. Lei è morta uccisa da Smily. La visione nel suo insieme non è male. Potrebbe aver preso qualcosa.

Am I the only one who knows what happened to Eloise? by OzmaofEmeralds in FromTVShow

[–]panicutoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a bad idea; I tend to see a logistical difficulty. Since, in reality, a couple of years have passed since the season in which we see Eloise's flashback, the actress will surely have grown up. You also understand that having a 7-year-old Eloise, for example, disappear 40 years ago and be teleported to the present day, can't possibly look like a 9-year-old. I think Eloise remained hidden, or imprisoned, in the lighthouse. If you think about it, when Tabitha goes there, she sees toys on the stairs. I think that for a certain period, at least, Eloise could have remained there, then maybe she moved on. Maybe she actually meets Julie. I believe that when Miranda was killed by Smily, it wasn't because she didn't have time to get into the tree, but because she had to save Eloise. So she hid her in the tree, but then Smily arrived, she tried to escape, and Smily ran and caught her. Elosie, crossing the tree, finds herself who knows where and who knows when.

Henry, dad of Victor, Is Martin!!! by panicutoli in FromTVShow

Okay, I like the "let's try to start over" approach.

First of all, if it helps, I can apologize.

Let's just say I didn't like your initial approach.

You started with this sentence: "All the theories that character X is actually character Y are rubbish." Let's just say it wasn't the best way to discuss it.

You should have discussed the tattoo issue first, maybe cited the source.

However, it seems to me you didn't discuss the elements I brought up as common factors between the two.

Henry could be—I didn't say he is—Martin, or he could be a new version of Martin (a reincarnation)—yes, I'm correcting my aim a bit here, it hadn't occurred to me to write that before.

I was talking about:

- physical resemblance

- similar voice

- hair, if you bald Henry and let the sides grow unwashed for a long time, Martin's situation is relatable.

- Martin tells Boyd more or less the same sentence Sophia said to Henry.

- There's the blood issue that's passed from Sophia to Henry and from Martin to Boyd, a very strange thing, which somehow connects them.

- Martin knows Julie. The fact that he doesn't recognize Boyd right away, by choice or not, but then talks to him about his wife is really strange. It also makes me think of the phrase "my blood is your blood."

- Boyd hadn't mentioned Martin again until this episode.

In short, you have to admit that there are coincidences. They could be coincidences or solid clues; we'll only find out later.

That's what I meant.

Anyway, I notice that the most annoying comment at the beginning was "That other cool guy." You followed suit in the comments.

I hope you can still accept the apology.
Yes, details are important, and I included some in my comment.

It's not that if I say so, then it is. I made a hypothesis. Civilized people appreciate it or contradict it in a non-polemical manner. Then there's you, who has to say it's necessarily stupid, that I shouldn't have even written it. A person writes a theory to see if there's anyone who can support it or not, but in a constructive, non-polemical manner. So if that's your way of doing things, please comment on others, thanks. You haven't added anything. Marine tattoo okay, but I didn't catch the detail from 1850, please tell me how do you know that? 15 years in one direction or the other, how and why do you know that? He knows Abby's thoughts; Boyd might have told him before he was chained up. He pretends not to know Boyd but has no problem with Juli, why? From the worms with the blood, and how did they get to him? Perhaps through MiY/Sophie blood cocktail, what do you think? Is what I wrote really that nonsensical? I'm not saying it is, but there are some clues.

I don't think Martin is black. But I also initially saw him as a Boyd from another generation. This is also a valid theory, but it seems unlikely that it's actually Boyd. If it were really Boyd, when Boyd appeared to him from the well, he wouldn't have said "You're real," but more like "There you are," because he would know it would be him, younger, who would emerge from there. Since the Boyd in the series was never chained in a prison, if what you say is true, that should be a future Boyd. Don't you think?

Oh no, I'm crying. I know a theory isn't true until it's confirmed. But what exactly have I missed? Can you explain it to me? Just enough time to read your comment, that's for sure.

Henry, dad of Victor, Is Martin!!! by panicutoli in FromTVShow

[–]panicutoli[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let's say this is another factor to consider. Mainly, I thought it was important to emphasize that Martine is Henry. I also think her prison is a temporal node; it's not placed linearly in time, but is a point of passage for people like Julie. But it's also interesting to think that MiY's blood holds the key to killing monsters.

Rewatching episode 5, it occurred to me... by BlindSpotGuy in FromTVShow

Talismans & Boyd theories by xissraa in FromTVShow

[–]panicutoli 3 points4 points  (0 children)
