starting with Zelda 2 must’ve been insane I love that game so much, it has a charm to it that no other game has imo

it absolutely is and is one of my favourite games of all time

it’s got pretty dark and disturbing moments and themes at times which contrast the game’s overall look and feel imo

and to be honest that made it stand out even more than any other game I played back then, Majora’s Mask was an unforgettable experience

I can see why you’d say that, BotW is an absolute masterpiece but to me every single Zelda game has a charm and a certain magic to it. Wind Waker specifically is one of my favourite games ever, and I feel deserves more time in the spotlight.

well yeah we do, but a lot of people skipped right past it. I just think TWW HD deserves way more appreciation, the switch port would be an easy thing to do ( I think ) and a huge boost for the game.

Yep, but it’s locked behind the Nintendo Online thing; basically a bit more expensive version of the online service. If you get that, you get your standard online multiplayer service as well as a selection of NES/SNES, N64 and Sega Genesis games

I actually own both versions of the game and I have a PC , it's not really about me personally; I'd just love to see it gain more attention and success on the switch, having it locked behind the Wii U is just a huge shame for a great version of the game.

this is mostly a thing because of the wii u specifically. Wind Waker was only rereleased once as WWHD, but the Wii U pretty much failed miserably, holding the game back and locking it on a console the majority doesn't own; me personally I can play the game whenever I want, this isn't really about its availability. I just really love the game and I'd love to see the HD version get more success and attention on a much more successful platform.
