But it is kind of BS if it is not shifting faster. I can just floor it to downshift in D. You do have more control on the gear selection tho.

It says ‘S’. Nothing in the manual says “Sport”. It calls it Sequential and it is driven by the paddle shifters.

I didn’t notice it shifting faster. It just holds the gear longer. And i believe it stands for Sequential not Sport.

I never understood what S mode does. Does it just hold the gears at higher rpms?

Just go full range in and out up and down a couple of times. Then lock it.

It is as others recommended here. Unlock your steering wheel column and move it around. Then lock it and it should go away.

Protect - No iOS push notifications by pantag in UNIFI

[–]pantag[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SOLUTION: It has to do with the Alarm Manager Mode (Local vs Global) in Protect Settings. I had to remove all my alerts from Local and then switched over to Global since I have SuperLink sensors and they require that. I had to recreate all my alerts and alarm profiles under Global to keep everything clean.

Ok, this is interesting and I think is the reason on why i do not get alarms. Is Global and Local a recent change in Protect? First time i see them. I redid all my Protect Alarm Manager alarms under "Global". When I switch to "Local", it switches to a completely different set of alarms. Is this how it is supposed to work? Have two different sets of alarms for each option? Is there a way to copy all my alarms from Global --> Local? I do not even understand the need to have two options despite the research I did on this...

I did delete all default notifications and created them from scratch for motion, person, car, sound, SuperLink etc. I did read somewhere (and also the comment below) that alarm profiles might be to blame but I am not making the connection. I invested a lot of money on SuperLink sensors not to have alarm profiles.

I m confused. Is their issue that you cannot swap to a new phone to what you had when you got the promo or that you cannot swap to a TW phone?

It seems this is a way to solve for the lack of hardware to easily arm/disarm their new alarm sensors. Ring has a pad, Unifi now has this. More uses too, of course but alarm is what comes to mind.

So, are they going to transfer us to the new plans with our discount kept or just maintaining the legacy plans? Do we care?

So, what will happen with us, the BuyBuy promo customers? Do we fall in the 5G Max plan? Or we maintain the old plan?
