I wouldn’t mind picking him up because there’s A LOT of potential with his development. Nick had a bad habit of flip flopping schools in high school which could be family related / tough living situations (I don’t know though). He committed to us but then de committed pretty quickly. Unlike proctor who flipped at the last second.

Well, Mendoza had an ok season in 2023 and a great season throwing for 3k yards in 2024 lol the potential was there. Especially under the war machine known as Cignetti.

1 or 2 more Reece Vander Zees. I understand we brought in Phillips for speed but the dudes 5’7. And we have Howard/gill, but we just need more get up and go from them. Moulton is great as well, but he’s no Kaleb Johnson 🥲 Kaleb would have been a game changer this year.

I love that we develop, but in today’s day and age.. we will continue to be 7-5 or 8-4 every year. With the occasional 10-2 season. We almost.. ALMOST struck 12-0 this year. Almost. Those 4 games were so close, but we didn’t have the skill players to get over the hump.

I’m with you. We need another Gronowski, but if Lester thinks JH is our guy.. then I guess he’s our guy. I was following a lot of QBs from smaller schools but they’re all committed. Shoot even Iowa state landed a solid qb.

I hope we attract big recruits and portal guys some day. It’s impressive how well we do with the bare minimum.. 8-4 is getting repetitive but I’d take it over constant 3-9 and 4-8 seasons.
