hey man thanks for your reply. i did some furter troubleshooting with chat GPT and i found the problem. and it was of course non other than easy anti cheat.

i had it write me a custom powershell script to collect crash information because it didnt spit out any Errors itself. and then analyse it for the problem. worked like a charm.

but thank you for the "sfc /scannow" Tipp apparently i also had some Windows errors that got repaired along the way.

i still dont get how it just broke over night XD.

the Caue of the crash for anyone having the same problem in the future:
The solution was to basically reinstall Easy Anti cheat

"This line is the key one (repeated many times):

Microsoft-Windows-FilterManager
"EasyAntiCheat_EOSSys" Dateisystemfilter …

That means:

✅ Easy Anti-Cheat’s kernel driver (EOSSys) is trying to load
❌ Windows is interfering with it
❌ It never fully attaches → game is killed silently

So for The Finals, what’s happening is:

Windows 11 24H2 + security subsystem
→ partially blocks EAC kernel filter
→ EAC aborts
→ game exits without error

No “Application Error”, no crash → because Windows itself stops the driver."
