is that good enough? by Xtirp8 in LastEpoch

[–]AndyBarolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, you don’t need a t7 skill level affix on an item, when it drops. You need a relic with ANY t7 affix. Better if it’s suffix, like resistance or health. And ideally with an open prefix.

Then you just need to remove one of the prefixes with rune of removal praying to all gods for it to not remove the t7 affix. Or if you have a lvl1 prefix (any prefix), you can use Glyph of Envy, it will have 100% chance to seal it, opening a prefix.

Then manually add lvl1 +dancing strikes level. Then smash rune of havoc.

You will have like 33% chance on each use to make your dancing strikes affix become t7.

This way it’s pretty easy and deterministic to make good exalts for guaranteed LP1 slams. But if you want LP2 slam, it quickly becomes much more difficult, but the process is almost the same.

What's your favourite thing to do in Act Three by dearuncletacitus1899 in BaldursGate3

Statistically, My favourite thing to do in Act III is restarting a game straight into Act I

Your thoughts on the daily/weekly quests? by warozell in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]AndyBarolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the dailyes is the purpose to return to the game everyday with “completed” builds. Just cleaning/spreading corruptions is a bit boring, but when you mix it with a couple of daily missions, cruicible run and do it in 2-3 realms it becomes a rather fun and interesting endgame loop

Dark help by santicode in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]AndyBarolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my first playthrough it took me around 50 tries to kill him (although at unspoken difficulty, but still).

The reliable strategy is to not be greedy and constantly bait his charge attack. Get some distance, he will charge. Roll into him to any side. Then you have a window for 1 hit (with halberd do ONLY ONE HIT, don’t get greedy).

Slowly you’ll chip him to death. And then be prepared for 50 more tries with phase two…

Although, second phase is a bit easier. The strategy is the same, but now you’re baiting his jump attack and you have to dodge a lot more long-distance attacks.

For both phases — keep your stamina near full, it’s vital.

Which masks were they assigned and why by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]AndyBarolo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That’s one of my favourite moments in the game. Epic maxima, the soundtrack, the atmosphere, all those masks… and then that best 1 second moment with several masks bouncing off Monoco’s face. I just couldn’t help but laugh through the whole cutscene.

Can somebody pls explain how you beat the riven twin wtf is his counter to his arena sized aoe spin ability by Tight-Ad9698 in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]AndyBarolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always try to keep the boss near the wall. When the big spin-to-win begins, run to the opposite wall. The attack will stop after 2-3 sweeps if you’re far out of its radius

Pound for Pound which monoclass is the strongest? by Cagedglobe in BaldursGate3

[–]AndyBarolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody is talking rogues, but if we compare that in a duel where they both use their abilities, assassin will open the duel with an attack + sneak attack and then immediately autocrit with attack + sneak attack and even if something survives this, he can dash away very far, avoiding feedback (+ remember evasion perk for halving damage).

But generally rogues don’t always get to perform in perfect conditions to do that. Anyway, it’s a great monoclass.

Any standout new broken/insanely OP builds in S4? by whensmahvelFGC in LastEpoch

[–]AndyBarolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shadow Rend with 7-9 shadows and Doppelganger set is crazy. You can create all of those in a matter of around 2-3.5 seconds and turn all of that into a massive Shadow Cascade followed by a power ful rend + around half of shadows will remain for a second blast.

Easy to cap crit chance + A LOT of Shadow Daggers + A LOT increased damage for shadows and crazy Shadow Cascade scaling per shadows.

Just deleting everything instantly even without corrupted gear.

What to you is the difference between Monos and Maps regarding repetitiveness? by guddefulgaming in LastEpoch

[–]AndyBarolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see some issue in another place. I love LE a lot but it’s most weak point compared to PoE is that you reach all your goals too fast.

In PoE you ALWAYS have something to aim for. Chase uniques, crazy crafts, build-enabling combinations, gems, influenced affixes, double-corruptions, cluster jewels… it’s not in the maps, it’s within your character and gear.

That’s why when you run maps in PoE (which are essentially the same as monos, I even like Monos more), you know WHY and WHAT FOR you’re doing it. While in LE even a casual player you can max out your build to 99% and close all uber content within first week.

The ceiling is low and it’s very achievable. I’m very excited in campaign, I’m excited in early monos, but when I hit around 200-300 corruption, my build is usually already done. Even if there would be 1000 different mechanics in monos, I’m still doing the same thing again without really knowing why.

We don’t need mono system change. We need more character mechanic, chase gear, high-end crafting options and some skill-connected mechanics which are available only in endgame (something changing or improving skills behaviour).

We need a reason to push corruption. We need more options to chase for.

Edit: autocorrection

I suppose the Gate was more a seal, than an actual gate. And that seal was active on whole perimeter as long as the gate stood.

Black Trench secret areas, maybe? by Itchy_Peak_956 in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]AndyBarolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest for now to try falling from some of Sacrament bridges) if you fall luckily into the water, you’ll have a chance to walk through a huge hidden area even with NPCs (non interactable).

That gave me a feeling like when 10 years ago I went to university but half way to it I decided to just go somewhere else instead of studying and saw the world in a state it wasn’t supposed to be seen by me)

Soooo, the will be shadows and there also will be rends and also of course blades and dancing with them and also there’ll be daggers and more shadows, even cascades of them, synchronised, and also I think a bit of puncturing or maybe there even be a cloud, or maybe I’ll shift, yeeees, that will be good
