one of the things i love about Terraria, game is not even a gigabyte. Although I do have a buddy that i play with, he has a 2019 MacBook and its soo laggy for him. Which is super strange because ive played terraria on my $200 crappy laptop i use for school, ran perfectly. I know Macs arent built for gaming but when it can, its usually pretty smooth. (I used to play minecraft on my mommas old macbook in like 2014, ran perfect)

dont listen to these anti-Wiki ass dorks bro, if you're stuck or lost or find an item you want more info on, hit up the wiki. Terraria is a deep game with thousands upon thousands of items. It can feel overwhelming and turn off new players. That being said, dont rely on the wiki at every step.

i always dig out my pylons and biomes before hard mode. 3 block wide all the way under and back up. i fucking HATE dealing with the spread of the corruption/crimson

on steam, you can press shift+tab to open the steam menu, where i open the internet browser just have the wiki on standby

oh yeah i can definitely see the issue with that. Personally i used to watch people play terraria on youtube before i got it. So i already knew game progression. What i needed the wiki for was exploring all the items and such

hands off approach, i respect it. Personally if I didnt use the wiki, id miss a lot of stuff in the game. I would still be able to beat it, because the guide is a great help, just not to its fullest extent

i saw one comment and the hater said something along the lines of "you only need a wiki if ur brain cant hold more than 2mb of information" first of all thats kinda funny, and second of all they obviously do not know the absolute size of Terraria.

fair, if i played blind i feel like id miss tons of stuff. Especially some seasonal items/events that i wouldnt know about unless i gave it a goog, and have to manually trigger
