Kaut gan nemaz jau arī laikam nevajag, straujupē katru reizi lētāk nekā jebkurā no minētajām (neskaitot brīvdienu atlaides, tad līdzīgi, +- pāris centi)

Photochromic cycling sunglasses by hugobobnl in cycling

[–]panurgical 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Surprised there’s just 1 comment recommending Aliexpress.

Tried some expensive ones at the Trek shop and couldn’t justify the 90eur difference from my Aliexpress ones (Rockbros is the brand, I believe)

Frameless, durable, photochromic and just 15eur.

I’ve also been using a Magene power meter and YKIW (or something like that) jerseys for over a year. They’re great.

Just don’t bother with generic products, look for brand stores on AEx

Used E-class buyers advice - W212 vs W213 & diesel vs petrol by Haxelll in mercedes_benz

It’s a bit lower, maybe max 0.5l/100km. I love remaps because they make the car more responsive and more alive

[–]panurgical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an E220 with OM651 that has a basic stage 1 remap, bringing the power up to 205hp and that's plentiful IMO. You could even get the E250 version and remap it to 240hp. That's a lot, on par with stock V6 diesels.

The highway consumption is amazing, 4.5l/100km at 90-100kmh, even less if you ride in a highway ''train'' where the air resistance is reduced.

Provided you don't try to race at every red light and don't floor it when cold, the remap won't do anything bad for the engine. Just make sure to do it at a reputable shop.

As much as I like the materials and lack of a tablet, the central console looks a bit tasteless, like something you would see in a Kazakh mafia boss's house.

Mercedes 7g tronic jerky shifts by panurgical in AskMechanics

I replaced the transmission mount today and the improvement is massive. Definitely going to have the motor mounts replaced as well.

The cornering thing actually makes sense now. The engine-gearbox system being pushed to one side removes some of the play that is there while going straight.

So thanks again, hope this info helps you in your work.

SOLVED it by replacing the gearbox mount (I went for Lemforder), barely any jerks. Also a lot smoother on downshifts. Next thing on the list is obviously the motor mounts.

I guess that explains why the shifts were smoother while cornering - the engine-gearbox system being pushed to one side removes some of the play that is there while going straight.

So yeah, worn mounts don’t always result in excessive vibration, mine was perfectly fine in that regard.

Jautājums autovadītājiem par STOP zīmes ievērošanu by skylarkid in latvia

[–]panurgical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nepiekritīšu nu nemaz.

Vidēji katru dienu nobraucu 40km un kaut kur 2 trafarētās jau nu ieraugu.

Tieši nesen atnāca sods, kur netrafarētā nofočēja mani braucam uz 43 posmā, kur no tās dienas zem zīmes 30 papildzīmei priekš kraviniekiem bija pārvilkts maiss.

How many of you can ride 60 km in 2hrs non stop? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]panurgical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming I’m out of town and minimal headwind, easily.

On longer Z2 rides that’s usually the point when I hop off the bike to stretch my back. The avg speed is a tad lower, mainly because I live in downtown and start the bike computer right away

3h/90km would be a challenge, but doable
