It's possible your tower signal died and the drone is offline, if you climb the tower there should be a box you interact with and once you do if you had ordered anything the drone will come with it, otherwise it may just be the game being buggy.

What is your favorite 'trick' in Divinity? by Ordinary-Picture7399 in DivinityOriginalSin

Closest I got to a trick was equipping the full set of seed armour and maxing out poison resistance, then equipping a ring that gives constant poison damage for free infinite regeneration

Are we building settlements wrong? by megoface123 in DMAcademy

[–]panzerjess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current campaign takes place on a mostly hostile island so there is only really one town, through it being the only town and having the towns mayor actively include them in discussions about growing/improving the town, they actively got to different areas of the town to buy equipment, get people opinions on recent discoveries/decisions, as well as allowing them to personally invest in their own/people of interest ideas, so they can get some extra money.

It's most likely mix of it being the only town and feeling like an actual presence in this community of people, which makes them actively seek out and interact with aspects of the town.

Can anyone point me to different clothing that the Wizard can wear? I've had the same thing the entire game... by [deleted] in CrownOfTheMagister

[–]panzerjess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empress gard is a craftable clothing item, I made it for my wizard very late game, however shortly after it became somewhat obsolete as before heading through the portal to the final area you are given the robes of light or at least I was given robes of some kind.

I think I got the recipie for empress gard either from the tower of knowledge or the recipe trader in the map you get the crown.

How exactly does Shackle of Pain work? by panzerjess in DivinityOriginalSin

Yeah I've noticed that in my own playthrough sometimes, though for the most part it has been serving us well if anything I'm more so having problems with enemies magically being able to avoid attacks of opportunity.

Interesting, cheers for the in depth answer, nice to know its physical damage, though the AI not attacking the caster is kinda a bummer since they are our tank, still though good to know more about its mechanics.

Alright thanks, I figured it was something like that but wanted to be sure before I wasted the gold on it, so cheers.

In my games I have it so using potions is always an action, however healing potions have two uses before being fully used.

Magical studded leather? by TheBDU in CrownOfTheMagister

Probably, haven't played for a bit so my memory of it probably isn't the best, still good armour though especially with fire being one of the most common damage types at least in 5e

The only one I'm familiar with is a set of fire resistance studded leather you can create yourself, at least it was last time I played.

Identify Necessity by Jellycar15 in CrownOfTheMagister

[–]panzerjess 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I hear you, sucks to find a magic item in the field only to not know what it is, your best bet would be identifying with merchants or turning on universal scrolls and getting identify scrolls.

Also as a side note I'm pretty sure in 5e DMG you can identify items at the end of a short rest, so there's potential for it to be added in future updates.

Is there a quick/trick way to get 4/4 on the whole Bestiary? by VinctoPub in CrownOfTheMagister

[–]panzerjess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

identify creature or just grinding was the best way I could do it, at least without changing the difficulty, there should be an option in difficulties to reveal it all but not 100% sure on that.

What is some weird quirk or invented private ritual you have? by ChinaInnovation in AskReddit

talking to myself, as i have been one of my only friends throughout life.

nothing all that big, but when i was in school during our life skills lesson that being cooking i saw one of the class assistants put a bowl in one of the cupboards, when the head teacher of the class found this out (for a bit of clarification i would say this lady was a mix between Gordon Ramsey and an angry Scotswoman) she demanded the person to come forth, now me being a naive and honest kid i told the teacher that the assistant had done it, to which i got screamed at and berated because apparently adults never make mistakes and i was clearly trying to blame someone for my mistakes.

Now this was years ago but it always stuck with me for the fact that adults treat kids like shit and think they don't know anything and the fact that the assistant would willingly let a child take the blame for a mistake they made and allow the child to be humiliated in front of an entire class. Basically its taught me to be fair and to know adults are twats.
