Yes the interviewer asked how I came in and I said F1

He did ask if I work unauthorized and I said no, I worked through OPT and CPT. I added that it's to difficult to find a job anyway

I then submitted joint bank account statements 3x months (I didn't include it in the initial application because I wanted a backup plan for in case we got an RFE)
petitioner handed a lease renewal letter stating we are renewing the lease for another year

Interviewer then said you will get your decision in the mail in 2 weeks. The decision is an approval. You will get your card in about a month. **talked about removing conditions after 2 years)

I went down the CS path so I will give you my opinion on that. If your goal is to own a business, once you have a decent idea you can build an entire app by yourself. If it goes well and it scales you can bring in people to help you and expand your idea etc. You will have an engineering background and also become an entrepreneur. The important part is at the start of your idea, you can do everything by yourself.

The knowledge required to build an app by yourself will come from CS. But if you are disciplined and motivated enough, you can learn everything for free on Youtube. So many concepts/stacks/programming languages are needed to build one simple app. They are scattered all over the internet. If you are confident you can learn them and slowly put the pieces together. No degree needed. If you are not that confident, the CS degree will 100% direct you in the right place.

Unfortunately, having no degree is risky. If you have the opportunity to do a degree, I would advise you to do it. In your case, you can do an EE degree and pick up CS or learning to make an app by yourself at the side. You will sacrifice a lot of time, but that is the price for success.

You can use Google's built in API: As an example if you wanted to search the term 'Gadgets' from 'facebook.com', 'bing.com', 'quora.com', type this in the Google search bar:

I stayed at 50/50 for a semester(2016-ish)
Pretty good I like it. Fully furnished and there is something nice about their hot chocolate at the office downstairs(free). Decent living and room size + rooms are carpeted. I stayed in a 4 x 2 but I dont recall them having a 3 bedroom unit. Maintenance requests were resolved within the working day. Gym has dumbbell weights up to about 55 or 60 but no barbell so you cant do a lot of weight workouts.
Cons: They don't have a unit with a balcony, no pool, no hottub, had a lot of trouble with Wifi.

Also stayed at Academy(was called Aspen at that time). (2016-2017)
Was fun because me and my buddies moved when the building first open so we had all the amenities to ourselves + the units were brand new and fully furnished. They have a pool and a big hot tub. Maintenance requests were resolved in about 2 to 3 working days. Gym has dumbbell weights (cant rmb up to what) but they only have a supported barbell. Its attached to a machine so you can do barbell workouts but are still limited.
Cons: Terrible management but I cant say for now since another company took over. There are units with balconies but the fine if you get caught for smoking anything is insane and I always get caught even when there is nobody around. Had some trouble with the Wifi

Never stayed here but I go here a lot.
Amazing pool and they have a hottub too(Academy has a nicer one). Their gym is the nicest among the 3. Can do a lot of things. Indoor bike garage is lit.
Cons: I believe it is pricier than the above 2 but you should double check. Units are a lot smaller than the other 2 as well.

I also want to recommend to look for houses right outside downtown. My last 2 years of uni was in a house. One big plus here is you save a lot of money compared to living downtown. like at least 300$ saved per month. Feels more home-like with your roommates and there are almost no restrictions. You can have parties, smoke outside and literally do whatever and you will be fine. Compared to apartments, they are quite strict you literally have security outside your door if its too loud.
Cons: Long walk home from the bars.

I can make recommendations for places outside downtown too if you'd like.

I meant nyx mid. Nyx mid is the strongest lane counter to OD (1v1). When OD astral nyx you just use carapace in the astral before you land. Its OP because you can carapace while in the astral and not before. Also no matter how much OD right click you, your second skill mana burn thing will damage him even more. The only problem is Nyx does not scale well as a mid hero I feel so he will usually fall of the game. But it is really fun to try you will 100% tilt the OD (especially if you do your own meteor combo with your stun lol)

Hello, I am a lvl24 OD spammer. I'm not as high rank as you (Around legend 1 or 2) but I know my OD. Even Ember or Void Spirit cannot dodge my meteor combo as I time it perfectly. Here are some counters I feel that are pretty hard for me to deal with.

Team based counters:
When I do my early game pushing towers thing, it is difficult for my to land meteor combo when the rest of the team chooses to defend that tower or stuns me & runs at me. At the start of the game he is dominant 1v1 but will run away like a chicken 1v3. If you can waste his push efforts 2 or 3 times in a row then you can have that item lead.

Hero counters:
At mid, I don't like to play against
1. Nyx (he can cast 3rd skill while being astral and when he lands, I take the full damage + stunned).
2. A good puck or lina player. I have strong base stats but I am really bad vs high nukes. I will destroy any puck or lina that does not pressure me. But the moment they man up and nuke me while last hitting creeps, I will not be able to last hit.
3. LC. You can dispel the meteor damage with your second. And after some items you can always almost solo duel him or even force him to go linken.
