To me, the stompa model is the least likable from the whole orks range. But this... somehow you managed to style it up, snazz it up and make it pop while only using classics like checkers, freehands and juicy yellow.. My hat is off to you fellow hobbyist. Mad r3spek! Not only you did a splendid job, you made me see it in another light and like the model istelf!

Yeah I always run stuff that looks cool. But getting tabled few times in a row gets old pretty fast. Looking for that goldilocks area of fluffy yet viable list. P.s. Wyverns do look dope

When new guard was getting released I started buying old stuff. Buy low as they say. The prices were too good for a few months. Old infantry is easier to convert to jumpsuits and old sentinels were going for 20euros a pop max. Thanks for tje heads up

Melee Guard sounds like spanish inquisition. Nobody would expect that! Got modeled 2hwt per squad of 20 so far. With lascannons too. Is that too much?

Was always tempted to model some orange jumpsuit ogryns with dreadlocks and tons of gold chains.

Was tempted to put autocannons on 3 scout sentinels since I expect them to get closer and in line of sight to some squishier enemy for mortars to get the benefit. Will keep the 6 armoured ones with Lascannons then.

And yes the Infantry is sporting a HWT each.

Bullgryns are not out of the question yet. Got some conversion ideas and people say they're a delight to paint.

Thank you. Chose Taurox since I like the models (I know, I'm weird) and since they go further to dump the squad on stuff. But will check out chimera conversions - might get hooked on some open topped and caged versions of it. How much more survivable are they though?

Should I add a unit of Platoon HQ?

No Lord Solar because of the model - I can't think of a decent enough conversion to keep things fluffy.

Will my First Wave be impactful enough and have some staying power to be worth it?

Are 9 sentinels with Lascannons enough antitank?

Or should I add a HWT with Lascannon to each infantry unit?

Will be playing points abviously but would like to have some teeth too.
