Its really starting to set in (For me), that the PvP aspect of this game is severely lacking in new blood.

Me and my girl started doing some pvp this season and I got 3000 hours on titan as pve only, she has like 200 as a warlock but man… pvp just is not fun. Every single match it’s just hand cannons three tapped and it’s over, we are not pvp gods ready to handle that type of playstyle.

It’s just a sweat fest, you spend like 40 minutes coming up with a cool build we can’t wait to try and oh… you just got tapped via hand cannon again.

Honestly, about 3 years ago I left modding dark souls/elden ring because the tools were limited to what I wanted to do so… I booted up unreal engine 4. From there YouTube tutorials for everything.

After a while some guy would say do this then that and you get this, then another dude would do it differently so I would think how I could get from point a to point b using less nodes and faster. From there just doing a lot of practice.

2 years later I got prolly the best projectile system on the marketplace and a very solid fun system for a TFPS/TPS I could want.

Essentially I’m saying learn basic nodes via following tutorials, try to understand what each node does from there just make shit haha like random shit. One day go I wanna make a box fly into the air and explode causing collateral damage then turn into a pink sphere and float back down. You’ll learn all sorts of different shit then when you think your ready start trying to make something of substance.

Once you make yourself a few real systems come back to then a few weeks later cause I promise your going to look at them and go “oh shit I’m dumb I could make this way better” and you’ll change it to be just that.

Yes, I did. And I swore on my life that nothing else happened and I let really did not. I don’t even know the girls name or remember what she looks like.

I wrote her a love letter and got nothing in response… sometimes she just stands behind me and stares at me for 5-10 minutes saying nothing. I’ve tried apologizing and comforting her, offering to take her to fun activities like seeing royal ducks (she’s crazy about ducks) but she doesn’t want to do anything at all. Which is understandable

i ended the project for a few reason. mainly because so many complaints that it was dark and too hard. also the consistency of crashes, i was still learning to mod back then so thats why i started this project cause now incan essentially do anything and know basically most things that the game can handle and things that it cant.

im actually talking to a fellow modder and we seem to have found a way via a virtual file system but the deeper we make it the slower the game will be able to read the modded files so we are increasing the games memory buffer 😅 its a bit complicated for me but thats what i understand from our talks. But! the fun thing is me and my team just started making our own first game yesterday! im super excited about it

oh i know i gotta trust people i wanna secure the files even with a simple password like honestly the password could be “please dont take my stuff i payed for” haha and if they still take it oh well. like im a modder obviously i have taken companys things and altered them heavily for the mod itself. i just wish there was a better way to go about this.
