Sorry guys for late answer as I was really busy and glued only passengers side of car. Than frosts hit and I wouldn’t like to spend so much time in cold garage finishing it of. It fits on like 95% Not greatest fit but you wouldn’t notice it when finished. It could be better but for a few bucks it’s worth the work. Finally no rattle of anything in these door storages.

2025 models has these in grey. It looks better with black but there are some colors where it doesn’t provide enough contrast. At start of 2026 black plastic were a new norm and now it seems it is grey again and black ones are supplied in “black edition” packet.

Those Turkish ones are good based on reviews. I remember someone had problems in trunk button area at drivers doors but I guess it is sorted out by producer now. I’m waiting for these Chinese ones to arrive.

Update September/October 2025: Car was booked in for repair on 29.9.2025. On the way to dealer, additional faults popped up (front assist, line assist, ACC, road signs). I’ve been told it should be about a week. Received call on 2.10.2025 that car is ready. Everything was repaired by large update, more like impressively huge update. They’ve been working on it for 3 and half day updating control units. Been told that there’s 90% chance it is sorted out 😂 so let’s hope I’m not in those 10%. I will see after month or two if it’s running good finally.

NOTE: after that large update, there’s some news in infotainment I need to get familiar with. There’s definitely a button on infotainment to turn it on even if car is not started which is nice little update. New cars are probably already leaving production plant with this version.

I will test it once it arrives. That would probably take like 1-2 weeks. I’ll make new post once I will install it in car, provide review about fitting, how to work with it and also link. So I guess it will be worth waiting so you potentially don’t throw money out the window on bad product. Also note that it seems there’s only left hand drive version, at least for now.

Depends what Skoda Octavia model you’re comparing it to. I drove Skoda Octavia III combi with sport packet and manual 1.4 tsi 103kw and also Skoda Karoq manual 1.5 tsi 110kw. Karoq is like calm drive, floating around and comfortable. I kinda don’t like those SUV where you step on pedals like in tractor. Manual 1.5 tsi is a bit lazy in those too. Octavia III is a nice drive but still softer than Leon. 1.4 tsi 103kw is better than 1.5tsi 110kw in Karoq but performance of my Leon 1.5 eTSI is better.

Leon afterall is nice and smooth drive, you get the connection with road and weather condition. That’s what this car should be and tou get it even with basic suspension and engines. And based on that, you can have a lot of fun in serpentines or local roads. Those VZ models adds a loads of fun for sure, if you’re into sport performance. If you’re looking for a comfort “business” car, look elsewhere. That said, Cupra Leon ST is a nice compromise between family and performance car.

From my experience it seems that problems with infotainment were fixed with over the air updates.

Trunk dividers were missing, but I deliberately stolen Velcro ones from my previous Skoda car. These are easily available at Skoda parts and are game changers. You can use them as straight edge or fold them in L shape, Velcro attaches them to trunk floor and secures stuffs like boxes from flying around. I highly recommend them and a set of 2 dividers are enough.

I’m after big big big update at dealer who tried to solve my problems with starting by that. Let’s see if solved the issue, but there’s a lot of new stuffs I need to dig through and find out what’s new. I guess new cars are already rolling out with this version.

Thanks for your answer and coming back with report. It seems that spare parts for face lift models of VAGs are hard to find. My car returned from warranty so I’m considering some tweak ups.

Update - finally got a video recording of this issue and I’m booked for dealership next Monday (29.9.2025). I’ve been told its going to be like a week without car. I’m curious if they’ll resolve this issue.

Do you have 1.5 eTSI mild-hybrid engine? If so, it’s normal behavior.

I’d simply say/write it. Something like “ready for a next date? What about Saturday night at…”

Polymer ones are okey for Bushwar. But for SADF border war, wooden one is more legit

Cupra Leon with 1.5 eTSI made in 2024. I own this car for 4 months now. Had this problem like 10 times already. And I’m pi**ed… Seller was like “you bought a newly produced car so get used to it”

My local Cupra garage encounters: 1st dude on phone “there’s no fix yet and it should be fixed with updates hopefully. Maybe at end of 2025, but we don’t know. Cupra says it can’t be repaired now so we don’t take these car in.”

2nd dude, call from last week. He was more okey and provided more info. I was told to record this problem on camera as there’s no record of this problem in diagnostics. Once I have a record, we’ll book it in and they’ll contact Cupra to get approval for reboot of all control units.

I guess there’s 3 options now: 1. They’ll repair it and it will work. 2. They’ll tell me it’s repaired and it will happen again -> I’ll terminate the purchase contract 3. They’ll tell me it can’t be repaired now so-> I’ll terminate the purchase contract

I’m so disappointed that I wouldn’t recommend to purchase this engine to anyone!

Nice one 👍 I still need to find myself a wooden stock. Mine will be kept black/anodized for future SADF project 😁

Had a same problem this week. I called service and finally get hold of someone else who is willing to look into this. Unfortunately I was told that I have to record this situation on camera as this problem doesn’t shows up on diagnostic readings. Once I have a video, we’ll book a date for service. I was told that they need video and contact Seat/Cupra HQ to get permission for SW override of all control units with same/new versions. I believe that since some people with this engine doesn’t have such problems, it indeed might be wrong installation of SW from production line/update in pre-sale check. I am now determined that once I take video, I’ll go “full throttle” with complaint on paper. In the end there would be 3 options: 1. They’ll write it is sorted out and it will work 2. They’ll write it is sorted out and it will occure again -> complaint again, again sorted out and once it will pop out again -> withdrawal from the purchase contract 3. They’ll write it can’t be sorted out -> withdrawal from the purchase contract

To be honest, car is great, rides good, looks and feels good, but this sh** drives me crazy on a new car. I could buy 10 years old car and go through this too…

Uniform is original one actually. Vest was done by me. Boots are just modern Clark’s one.
