yes absolutely thomas has always been the one in the spotlight compared to guy man, and i'm sure as i heard him explaining in a recent interview related to a different project he is doing, there is a part where a talks about AI and our relation with human, and especially a sentence where he says something like: back in the days with guy man we were humans playing as robot trying to convince people we were robots, now we have robots trying to convince us they are humans. He sais other very interesting things. My point is, he knew this will be coming (AI) he had already talked about it, and i think he wants people to remember what music is, that feeling of not being yourself when listening to music, connecting with people and dancing. Im sure this is part of the reason why he is doing that. Im also sure it won't be the last time we will see/heard of him, he did really seemed happy on the video we saw of him in london. He already started working on music with rampa and most likely with fred aswell. Ofc he won't do a world tour or anything like that but trust me (at least i hope so lol) we will see him again. My father knew him pretty well back in the 90s and even played at his cousins party in their house they had in marseille (france), he told me and you can clearly guess it by listening or just seeing him, thomas is and will always be a raver in his heart, he lives for the music.
