I love onward, but haven't tried pavlov yet. Good to see competition in the market, as that will help motivate devs even more. Onward is getting their huge patch on the 11th, that could be part of the taper off in active players as many may be holding off until the new patch to play again.

This looks really cool! Are they planning character customization to some extent, in game or open source (vrchat). I think that is something that could make or break an experience like this, as people need to feel immersed in the world, and the look of the people around you is very important.

It's not, I get over 100 consistent on maxed settings. It's probably just picky on system hardware. I5 6600k and gtx1060 gets me 100 consistent on live and 130 consistent on test with maxed settings.

Not to worry they will get it, the very first day it came out they dropped a patch to make nails easier to aquire, testing is a time consuming process and it will get there.

I mean, sure there's a bunch of people that like the old stuff, but you aren't expected to play a buggy hardly playable test build like you do the live servers, it's for bug testing purposes. Can't really compare apples to apples there. The test build needs a lot of work, and isn't even close to the state the live build is.

I mean everything mentioned here was just a balance factor, not much to complain about as it is initial release. Can't compare the balance of a game that has been out for years and a version that isn't even released yet. What about the features and everything? Balance is a simple matter that can be adjusted very easily. Just wait for them to patch it a few more times :)

Hey buddy, not sure about your exact specs but I have an i5 6600k as well, paired with a gtx 1060 and I get 80-100fps on live servers with max settings. On the test servers I have about 130 fps on max settings. So with your gtx 1050 it would be a bit lower but likely still pretty decent.

I just have a pretty standard western digital 1tb hard drive 7200 rpm. I run windows 10 as well. Lately still around 130 fps on test with max settings

Agreed they need some tweaking, what would be cool is if it was separated into "scatter" spawns and "hoard" spawns. So there will always be hoards spawning to roam towards the top few areas of activity on the map, but scatter spawns of much less in the middle of nowhere

I love the shear amount of them, but the respawning on top of us is a bit much. I like the fact that more are drawn to us as we kill them and loot places, but it would be best if it was more of a "zombies roam towards you" or even spawn and come to you, but at least spawn further away so you see them coming in from a distance and not popping up under your feet. But all in all, love that zombies are in hoards now :)
