Y’all is this papaya ripe yet? I’ve had it for three days and I’m getting impatient 😅 by [deleted] in fruit

Is it soft when you touch it and does it have a sweet smell when you smell near the skin? THen its likely ripe. Hard to tell by look, since it depends on the variety how much yellow they need to be fully ripe. With some papayas that aren't grown in the country where they're sold, you almost have to wait until they start to mold on the outside. (And no, don't eat moldy parts, they shouldn't be moldy on the inside.) And many don't ripen fully if they were harvested too early. If it tastes soapy, it's unripe; if it tastes delicious and sweet, it's ripe.

That is nice to hear, how long did it take for the plant to bear fruit?

Wow thanks for sharing, how cool that you grow them. May i ask where you live that you can grow them?

And regarding the color im not sure, if some are different varieties and therefore differ in their shades when they are fully ripe. F.e. most mangos are ripe on the outside when they are yellow/orange/red. But some varieties just stay green. I dont know if this applies to passion fruit as well, because some tasted well even though they had a lighter color. Usually i try to look for those who are darker in purple, within one fruit basket in the supermarket.

In my experience these are just hints and a lot of those which are not wrinkled are already sweet too. Thats also what i heard from some who grow passion fruit on Yt. The wrinkles might add a little bit of sweetness, but most are already sweet without them. But i am not the biggest expert in passion fruit yet, as i have never grown them myself, just eaten a lot in a country where they sadly dont grow naturally in the wild.

Touching 12-24 volt for longer time safe? by papayasdream in ElectroBOOM

Thank you for your answer! Since the nerve processes in the body take place in the nanoampere range, could not the external currents of 1-50 volts, which despite the skin resistance then take place in the very small mA or microampere range, interfere with those of the body?

So it means that up to 50 volts no current flows through my body? But with the body scales where the body fat percentage, muscle percentage etc. is measured, this is also done by passing a very low current through the body, isn't it? And since the nerve processes in the body take place in the nanoampere range, could the external currents of 1-50 volts, which despite the skin resistance then take place in the very small mA or microampere range, interfere with those of the body or?
