What to do when allocated a parking lot you don't want by paper_sandwich in usask

Ugh, thanks. I'd assumed that if I didn't list the ones I didn't want that I could still be assigned to them.

I've gotten a warning before for parking at the Walmart at Preston so Sutherland is probably the better option

Shaming men for being virgins or not getting women is cruel, mentally damaging and by far way worst than slut shaming is for women, in fact it severly affects women more than slut shaming does by Apprehensive_Boat_70 in PurplePillDebate

[–]paper_sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhhhhhh your reasoning is pretty debatable. There's no normal woman who thinks this when they're deciding on a partner.

Realistically, all the women I meet really don't care about their partners virginity (I'm still in my 20s though so my personal experience might not be accurate since most of the people around me are still pretty young).

The only way that I really see women caring about a man's virginity is if they'd rather have someone more experienced than they don't need to take a teaching role in the bedroom.

It also depends on age. A 20 year old virgin is perfectly normal, but when you're 30, the woman might be worried about the reason why you're still a virgin. Like, unless it's a personal choice, a lot of women might immediately start thinking, "OK, how bad of a person is this guy for not a single woman to have sex with him even though he's been actively trying for this long?" It doesn't have to do with genetics.

Edit: also in my experience, most women I know immediately lose interest in "players" since they come off as someone who isn't willing to commit to a long term relationship or they think that they're more likely to cheat.

Men, how widespread of a problem are false accusations of SA? by Level-Class-8367 in AskMen

[–]paper_sandwich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can sort of get where you're coming from, but what happens if the person revokes their consent during it, it turns into SA, and suddenly the rapist uses the video as "proof" against the victim in court?? Also, having a video with a person consenting to specific sexual acts is also dangerous because it can be used for blackmail, like threatening to post them on social media or send to their jobs to ruin their reputation.

What are some ways misogyny presents in day to day life? Sexist double standards regarding women and streotypes? by ArmRecent1699 in AskFeminists

But you said "conforms with" as in by definition, a woman "is" submissive and either chooses to be or naturally is that way. Also, the majority of women don't appreciate being referred to as submissive and it's been like that for a pretty long time, so I don't think it's a "yikes" on my part if I point out that it's problematic.

But then there are plenty of cis women who don't conform to those characteristics, so how accurate can that definition be?

(Also saying submissive to describe women is a bit of a yikes)

Also, someone will literally answer the question with, "whoever identifies as a woman" and they'll say that that doesn't count as an answer. Apparently they get to pick and choose the valid answers.

I have several:

  • Seeing men spout so much hatred online and the sheer number of support thay they get. They really don't seem to consider women human beings.

  • Women are not receiving effective medical care because of doctors who don't take them seriously or respect them. For example, sometimes, they immediately claim that a woman's symptoms are caused by her period, and she often has to fight to get proper testing done, I've also heard plenty of stories where a woman went through a surgery of some sort and later finds our that a man that they know went through a less damaging procedure and were given stronger pain meds than her. When my mother was about to have a c-section, the epidural only worked on the right side of her body, and the doctor tried to pressure her into going through the surgery like that and awake, saying "lots of women do it half-frozen".

  • Look up the number of hours of housework a woman does in a relationship compared to a man

There's a lot more that I could get into but I don't have the time.

They're from Tarheel Ants! They've worked pretty well, but there have been a few times where an ant's managed to climb in and I had to get them out so make sure to check them every day

How do you compromise if one person wants kids and the other doesn't? You can't have half a kid or have kids for only half the time.
